I've never been to Italy but I imagine this is about as close as you can get without going there, it looks just like the postcards. The staff may be a bit rude but its all a part of the authentic Italian experience. The pizza here is as good as anywhere and the long wait is great because it leads to some great chit chat with the locals. Sure, they mess up my order from time to time, but that's why I keep coming back, they surprise me with something different each time. If you live in Adelaide I definitely recommend the drive just to come here. It's a long drive but closer than going to Italy.

Fantastic pizza! The variety is endless and caters for all tastes however I can't go past the Italian as being the closest I've come to an authentic Italian pizza. The flavours beautifully compliment the fresh base and Liezel's own special pizza sauce recipe is delicious. Just the right amount of FRESH toppings too.Kapunda Pizza Bar is a great employer of many young local kids who are getting their first taste of after school work so please be patient..... we were all in their shoes once. I've always found the staff to be super friendly. It can get busy (a testament to their popularity) so ordering ahead does help.A great supporter of many local clubs and charities so spend with those that support the town.Would love to see them stay open a little longer on Friday and Saturday nights...perhaps til 10pm. Other than that....10/10 every time.

Totally amazing. I drove half an hour to get a pizza and I wasn't disappointed. I got the lot with anchovies. It was hot and delicious. The base was crispy and delicious. The price was really good to. A large pizza, drink and a garlic bread for $26. This is a great pizza bar.

First visit here and won’t be our last. Pizzas were lovely. Generous toppings and tasted great. Staff were friendly and informative in the wait for take away. Very happy tourists here !

Unfortunately even after a few attempts to give them the opportunity to correct the error I don't get what I paid for :(I ordered chips n gravy large months ago and it was great served us all. Now I pay.for large and get small which is mayne 20 chips with gravy on top. The pizza sauce tastes off thought it was an unlucky bad topping but nope its the sauce. I won't be going back again very disappointing service

Unfortunately since the change of ownership this pizza bar has gone downhill. No flavour in pizza bases - very bland. Topping is good but the base spoils the overall flavour. Chicken schnitzel hot pack has an uncut schnitzel with a small pour of gravy in the middle surrounded by dry chips. You then have to try to cut a schnitzel on your lap with wooden cutlery. Not great - not terrible but disappointing every time lately unfortunately.

Absolutely the best pizzas and takeaway not only in Kapunda bit the Barossa too. Have always enjoyed the toppings, trying a few over my time here, with the Miners being my fave!
