I have been coming to this amazing place for over a year now and it is worth every cent. The owner Abbey & Senior Hair stylist Ebony are the sweetest girls. They are very welcoming and go above and beyond for you. Abbey always nails the colour I request every time I go and it comes out even better than I can ever imagine. I love this place. 100% recommend this place. xx

10/10 recommend. Came to exotique with 6mth of grow out and a wedding in 4 days and left with the most beautiful balayage I have ever seen. Affordable, professional and lovely hairdressers & atmosphere. My hairdresser, Bianca, went above and beyond and I’m so grateful. Won’t be going anywhere else!

I’ve waited to write a review to get a second opinion. Unfortunately I had the same experience as the person who previously posted.I sent photos to their Facebook page, showing my hair and explaining what I would like. They booked me in no worries.When I get there, I waited half an hour to be seen to. In the meantime I watched them create beautiful hair colours and absolutely believe the stylists have great skill. However every single client in there was told to buy their (very expensive) products multiple times.When I was seen to, after much discussion behind my back with another stylist, Trish told me my hair was too damaged because I used coles bought shampoo and conditioner. She said I needed their products and their treatments before she could consider dyeing my hair. She said it had too much silicone in it from my cheap hair products.I left, deciding to think about whether this was legitimate advice. I checked my hair products for silicone and they are silicone and paraben free. I have naturally oily hair as I explained but hadn’t dyed it in 6+ months and so it didn’t seem dry to me. So I left quite embarrassed at this and upset that my expectations from originally making the appointment were so different to reality.I went to a different hair salon who advised my hair is not damaged and was able to do what I asked. It honestly seems like this place focuses on upwelling their products unnecessarily and shames those not interested.It is unfortunate to leave such a negative review but this was my experience.

Highly recommend this place. My friends are always commenting on how great my hair looks and their surprised when I tell them I have hair extensions that’s how well Abbey blends them. Plus my real hair has grown so much since I’ve been going to them. People are always asking me where I go, I never hesitate to tell them where. Abbey, Ebony and Kristin are very professional and make you feel so comfortable there. They’re beyond friendly, you have the best time there and time really does fly especially when you have to be there for hours. Their willingness to help one another out whether it’s a wash or a blow dry or tape maintenance is just out of this world. I’ve never seen three girls work so in sync together before. I’m beyond happy I chose to come here and I won’t be going else where EVER!

The girls at Exotique Hair Studio go above and beyond for every single client who walks through their doors. They are amazing at what they do and work with you to achieve your hair goals while keeping your natural hair healthy and strong. The owner Abbey is rude and condescending. She hacked my hair with thinning scissors so badly it took a year for another hairdresser to fix it. They left my hair in very bad condition. For someone that spent a lot of money regularly at their salon you would think she would look after her customers better.

I am so happy and in love with the results from my first appointment. Stylist Abbey created the exact look I was after. Such a professional and friendly service. I am so glad to have found my new favourite hair salon. I cannot recommend these girls enough!!

Horrible place! The owner abbey is extremely condescending, will pretend to make conversation with you but ignore you because she’s too busy talking to her coworkers. The price on the website was $199 for a permanent all over AND it was 20% off because I claimed a last minute appointment on their instagram story. I did not get a cut, treatment, or anything extra, and my hair costed me $250!

I have been visiting Exotique Hair Studio for a over 4 years and I wouldn't trust anyone other than Abbey or Eb with my hair. The girls are excellent and give me my perfect blonde every time. They are both so talented and I walk out amazed every single visit.They are always super accomodating and squeeze me in when I request an appointment last minute. They are so friendly and I love coming in to get my hair done. Eb is also the best spray tanner you will find on the Coast.I would never recommend anyone else.

I came in with dark hair with some old streaky, brassy highlights and left with the most beautiful blonde balayage, much lighter than we anticipated getting on the first session! The girls were so incredibly lovely, I have never felt so comfortable and looked after at a hairdresser. I'm in awe of my hair and can't wait to be back!
