The food was spectacular with great flavours. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant for our dining experience. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant you will be pleasantly surprised as well as it being very reasonably priced

Heard good things about this restaurant and wasn’t disappointed. Food was delicious and reasonably priced for fine dining, setting was very pleasant and service was good. Will definitely be back.

Dinner sitting at 8:00pm. We were served our entree very quickly but we had to wait an hour for our mains which was a huge shame and just made it frustrating doesn’t matter how good the food is. The food was very lovely. Husband had scollops and I had duck breast and both were delicious. Mains were a very long wait and my husband had ocean trout which was rare which would of been finer if the fish was warm but it wasn’t and it was sloppy which is a huge shame and ruined a good price of ocean trout fillet. I had the pork and that was lovely but difficult to eat with a butter knife, perhaps more attentive cutlery service is needed depending on the meal. The staff were somewhat friendly but it seemed like our table service was neglected especially when I compared other patrons table service to ours, they were very attentive with wine tops ups and water tops up with other patrons but I found myself doing my own water top up so I as abit disappointed that the fine dining experience was non existent for us. Was even more annoyed when another tables dessert came out before ours did when we ordered before them. If the mains didn’t take an hour I would of been a better experience but we were ready to go at 9pm as it’s fairly late to eat dinner and still hadn’t had our mains yet. No one should have to wait that long for dinner and there was no acknowledgement of the wait either. No body explained the meals so the fine dining experience really lacked in all departments. The seats were hard with no cushions and it was a shared bathroom which is just awkward, I mean yes we are In 2022 but as a female I don’t appreciate walking into a toilet that has piss spots everywhere over the floor where my feet go because men shake afterwards and don’t clean up after themselves… I was literally standing in urine in shoes that were quite expensive, in a supposed fine dining restaurant. For the amount of staff they had on the floor, someone should be ensuring the bathroom is sanitary for the customers. The decoration and ambiance of the restaurant was lovely and modern. All in all pretty disappointing in some aspects. The food isn’t that good that I’d go back and put myself through all that. I hate leaving bad reviews but sometimes the feedback leaves room for improvement.

A special occasion family lunch was exceptional. We were 10. Service was friendly, efficient and professional. Food really good. Definitely a family favourite now.

Truly thankful to Josh and his dedicated team for making my mum’s surprise birthday party a cherished occasion. The team went beyond the call.If you’re looking for a place with superb food, wine and service to match, Mr Collins is highly recommended.

The location had a casual feel and I enjoyed the relatively quiet ambiance from the crowds in the street. The food was excellent but just be aware that it's not authentic dishes as almost everything on the menu is some kind of fusion interpretation. The Nasi Goreng was like a deconstructed fried cous cous meal, but it was still amazingly tasty. Just don't have expectations of authentic cuisine and you will have a wonderful time.

An absolutely amazing addition to the Blue Mountains fine dining scene. We dined here for a celebratory lunch where they offer a slightly different variety to their evening menu, but the food is absolutely phenomenal! I cannot recommend highly enough and cannot wait for my next visit!

As a local I love to support local businesses however I'm cautious about recommending going here especially as it as a birthday evening and local friends were looking for a recommendation.Unattentive staff. Had to ask for bread when others were offered at start. Water was only topped up when asked. Tables who arrived later had there full meal service before ours had arrived.The food was ok but the vegetable side was both bland and over cooked, there was no crispness to them. Nearly mush.I just wanted to get out it was the most unpleasant of experiences.Be sure to check your bill as we were over charged (i think it was someone else bill I think it was the table who arrived after us and got all the attention) sent it back to be redone and was still wrong so got it changed again.All in all our experience wasnt that dissimilar to other reviews. I would have to say there are better options in the mountains for the money my partner paid for my birthday dinner.

Mr Collins was referred to us, definitely lived up to the glowing recommendation from Maurice.Beautiful ambience as you walked in the decor and lighting extremely relaxing. Tables far enough apart you can have a quiet conversation, although there is lovely mood music playing.Loved the selection on the menu. We both had the 3 course meal, loved every dish immensely, we returned the following night to experience the other choices on the menu.Superb produce and flavours you certainly won’t be disappointed.The staff warm and welcoming, knowledgeable about the food and wine.Overall, highly recommend Mr Collins this restaurant is up with the best. On every level it definitely deserves 5 stars.

While acknowledging there is not a lot of competition, this place is by far the best dining experience in Leura. Get out and support these hospitality businesses or we’ll lose them. The food was perfectly cooked, with interesting combinations of textures and flavours. Staff were attentive, engaging but not intrusive. We’ll be back. Highly recommended.
