Cafe 3 Eight Nine
We dropped by here for a big breakfast to share as we wanted coffee but we had heard about the food. The chef did not disappoint, food was so awesome my Mrs wanted seconds and third. Coffee and service were amazing too.

Cafe 3 Eight Nine
First visit to Cafe 3 Eight Nine this morning. Breakfast was very good. They were busy but service efficient and friendly. Food came fast. Omelette very tasty and corn fritter was a work of art with avocado. Will definitely be back.

Great food (specially the walnut with salmon and chicken), good coffee, and great staff. Just a bit expensive.

The staff were very friendly and helpful with a very good knowledge of what is on the menu.Food quality was outstanding and the portions of both normal menu items and kids menu were truly perfect.Good value for money and I will be adding this place to my regular eat out venues

Rang ahead as was time poor. When I arrived none of the staff had any idea about my order. I waited an another 5 minutes before having to ask where my order was. Again no one had any idea where the order was or how long it would be. Another 5 minutes passes and I finally get handed the order. Quickly stop at home to eat and get changed and let me tell you this food was not even worthy of my dog to eat and they had the hide to charge me $19 for this garbage

They serve good coffee.. had been there twice solo during my cycling training.. I usually eat my own food (bars to fuel cycling) and order coffee only.. was finishing my coffee and messaging on my phone when a lady came and said (are you waiting for some food? ) I said no! (She could have asked her staff rather than being rude) And back to my chat as I was so engaged.. she came again and picked up the coffee mug (are you finished with that? ) .. yes! After I left had a thought about it.. oh that was rude!, the tone.. the look and the questions.. Maybe I should’ve replied. Actually we visited the cafe 2 days before and had a breakfast with my friends. Sorry but you lost a customer forever!

Today my Mother & I had a lunch date for Mother’s Day just gone & was planning on going to The Belvedere but changed our minds due to all the construction noise happening there. We then went for a walk around & found Cafe 3 Eight Nine nearby & was pleased with their sea view & menu so stayed there for lunch & I have to give a shout out to Ken the chef who cooked & even served us our meal, lovely man & delicious food. Will definitely come back again. They had gluten free options and almond milk for me so ticked all my dietary requirement boxes. Highly recommend!

Cafe 3 Eight Nine
My MIL recommended this place after she came here for lunch with her mates.We had a family brekkie here and enjoyed ourselves.The Açaí muesli bowel was yums! The serving for the big breakfast was generous. My husband liked the corn frittata he ordered.Overall, it has a nice environment & friendly staff.
