The coffee wasn’t too bad but the attitude of the barista left a great deal to be desired. I think her name is Bronty. I asked her if they were going to open soon and she gave me a look like curdled milk. Their staff really need to be trained better I think.

I normally love this place and it's my go to local. Today was a complete let down..Waited over 25mins for a coffee, it wasn't terribly busy, however no communication on what was going on. 2 people then visited the workers working and helped themselves to coffees, having a chat and distracting the employees working. I don't mind waiting for coffee or seeing employees engage but this was beyond a joke.!!! I wasn't the only one who was frustrated in seeing this and the wait. This one experience has left me with a subpar coffee and me finding another local coffee place. Such a shame

I initially had trouble finding this place. Their pin was outside the complex, but they are located just in front of David Jones.The staff were friendly, the service was really quick and the coffee was good.

Foster & Black are one of the few places that make takeaway coffee an experience beyond getting a coffee 'to go' which is exactly what I've said about one of their other venues, because the service is so consistent across sites. There's a specific friendly way of serving that more often than not involves the barista walking out of the store to hand deliver the coffee. Often this is done with a precarious balancing act akin to tightrope walking. Truly unique and consistent.

my most favourite espresso bar in the Garden City. It's a specialty coffee shop. Take away only. White coffee uses house blend of Columbia and Brazil, Black uses SOE, and today is Ethiopia. Two high chair seats on the espresso bar. More seats available in the mall next to the booth.

$7 for a coffee that tasted horrible. Seems like the milk was off, it had a sour/tangy taste, I had to throw it away.

Worst coffee I've ever had in Garden City. I bought a regular sized oat milk Latte with 1 sugar. The first coffee which was made turned out to be a flat white, so I asked for it to be remade and the coffee which was remade tasted sour and very terrible. The texture of the milk was really rough and bubbly. When I watched the shot running into the coffee cup it only had a run time of around 15 seconds, therefore tasting like a really sour magic" ristretto. When the barista poured the milk he never took the time to mix the crema for the nice even taste. Instead just pouring the milk really fast and leaving crema burned and sour tasting. Next time I'd rather go to Maccas to spend my money on a better quality coffee."
