I'm a frequent customer of their take-away deluxe bento, though they have increased the price over the years, it is hard to blame with inflation and their quality is top-notch every-time I get the bento which is amazing. The takeaway is ready quickly (often 10 minutes) and is of great value as it comes with a mini udon (which I prefer over rice).

Good indoor furnishing. The sashimi is great - very fresh and good portion. The ramen is less good - 3.5/5. Overall good experience.

We had a very delicious dinner, we loved all the food, it was hot and tasty !! The service was fast&friendly. Really relaxing atmosphere. Thanks so much.

Just your standard Japanese restaurant run by Korean people. The food here was alright except the curry was pretty watery but the taste was still okay. The service was also adequate and they were still accommodating even though we came in close to closing.

Sakae has been around for a while and they managed to keep a good standard of food! The sushi and sashimi are always fresh, and the other dishes are always fresh and tasty too!Customer service is also good!

This place is terrific and we come every Saturday. The new decor looks great. The food is delicious and the staff are super. Consider booking as it's getting increasingly popular.

We had a wonderful experience. Food was amazing and high quality. Ginger was fresh as well as the best miso soup ever. I thoroughly enjoyed the curry which wasn't too spicy but just right. Service was prompt and a pleasant setting, highly recommended. Price was right as well. We usually pay more at other restaurants but the taste isn't as good as here.

Saw a place called Sakae Japanese dining bar. Had already had dinner, went in and ordered a small warm sake to share between us. The place was not full at the time.After we finished our Sake we were told we had to order food as well as a drink, we were confused by this rule but agreed and asked for the ice cream dessert. We were told that wasn't food and that we must order food as well (which no one had told us when we ordered the sake).Waitress said they are not a bar... Odd given their name literally says Sakae and bar.There's no liquor license law that says every customer who orders a drink must also order food. So I'm not sure where this rule comes from but it is a ridiculous rule and we should have been told in advance
