Lawrence & Hanson Hervey Bay

Went in to get some electrical products before the Xmas break. Upon my entry I was greeted to what I assume was the manager yelling and swearing at a younger staff member while an older guy was casually standing out the front of the building smoking a cigarette and a lady staff member talking on her phone quite loudly. I stood at the counter for quite some time once the older man had finished his smoke and didn’t even acknowledge me. Then when he did come and serve he was unhelpful and not interested! Worst customer service experience ever! I will not be going back!

Worst customer service in the Bay. Will never return and will never recommend . Absolutely disgusting attitude !!!!!!!!

Exceptional customer service

I am 63 and have just experienced the most abusive condescending arrogant sales person i can recall. It started well when i chatted to a lovely man about model trains while he was cooking on a barbecue. I said i needed some products and this younger liar said he would help me but refused. His bright shirt was the opposite to the misery that he is. Briefly, i needed many products to wire a model railway. I had pictures of the product codes and stickers that i needed to buy. Misery said do you know that these come in 100 metre lengths, as if i had dementia. He then said they are there somewhere there, find them. As he walked away i followed him and said i need these to build a model railway for my grandchildren. His rely was such that 20 years ago when i was younger and not suffering due to health issues someone would have needed to call OOO. A word of advice, be careful who you abuse, the next person may not be as stupid as you think. Anyway i left not buying what would have been hundreds of dollars of products because his attitude was i am not giving a minute of this stores time for an old fool. As a general comment, this store needs to understand that people like me own their home, have savings, spending power and more importantly can find other companies that want my business. I accept your invitation to never attempt to spend money in your store.
