Budget Accommodation with Budget Cleanliness. I felt our health was at risk if we'd stayed there any longer - Mouse droppings. Albeit location of the chalet was stunning and it was cooling at the peak summer season that was about it for us. We made the decision to check out 1 day early. There was a sign to advice us of the mouse plague within Kalbarri to Shark Bay and reminder to keep our doors shut. Later did we know the mice were within the chalet. Not all windows had fly screens, so we didnt open the window in the room with double bed. That room ended up being very stuffy and humid as there were no air flow. Only 1 fan in the living area. Thr general feel of the Chalet is VERY dated esp the bathroom. The chalet had walls and cupboards newly painted but mice droppings were clearly evident. It had gone for our bread and chewed onto our large canvas bag. The fridge was also not working properly. We checked in at 8pm over xmas eve, and stored our food inside the fridge even though i realised it wasn't completely, however the freezer was working fine. I thought it will cool down over the night. Unfortunately it didnt and we had to throw out salads and meats which was meant for our xmas lunch. We could not reach the owners via phone and their doors were shut. We could not get fresh food supplies. Our concerns were made to the lady owner on boxing day, she was unapologetic. We would have thought that the minimal effort was to at least clean out all the existing droppings if she was going to rent out that space. On the final morning as we were packing and ready for breakfast prior to checking out, voila, we saw a mouse run across from the side table to under the sofa. And moments later, it ran across the entire living area, possibly back to its home. We had chosen Wagoe as the accommodation within town were fully booked, bad move. BEWARE & BE PREPARED, don't let your holiday be ruined like ours.

Accommodation is simple, but more the good enough to cater for everything you need to kick back and relax when you aren't fishing. Tracks down to the beach are an easy drive, and the beach itself was easy to drive along. The only watch point is the rocks under sand, a little care needs to be taken when driving. We spent 5 days there and while we didn't catch but no g substantial we enjoyed our time and could see why the ace has the reputation that it does. Owner is very friendly and helpful

Our bad luck was super windy and cut our stay short, but what a view! But what a view will be back to enjoy it when less wind. Drive to the beach track was a bit soft but well worth the drive.

I felt $40 for a dusty unpowered site with no water was very overpriced. The flies were horrific, the amenities were sub standard and the office staff abrupt and unfriendly. The view however was beautiful but if you wish to visit the beach you need to fork out $10 for the key. I would not recommend this camp ground.

Ocean view and whale spotting from our caravan site. Everything you need but basic. Good base for the National Park.

If you are around the kalbarri, northampton area, wagoe chalets is a must stop. Breathtaking uninterrupted views of the sea. Whales just off the coast in July for us. Jenny and her husband have done a great job rebuilding and there is plenty of room for all sizes of vehicles . Driving access to the beach. Do stop in for a night or two. It is quiet too.

Camped here for two nights in total and what a little gem it was.The only thing letting this place down was the amenities, although it has to be said that they were always clean. The pitch was perfect for us with a swag and awning. The views are absolutely stunning over the ocean but naturally it can get a little windy but we didn't have any issues. The lovely lady behind the desk was real friendly and very accommodating. Can't wait to visit again!
