Dan is great at what he does, and a nice guy to boot. I had never used a stylist before Dan, but he made the process very easy. Because he's a guy, he knows how we operate. He reviewed my wardrobe, helped me define a new look, and researched items to fit my budget, such that by the time we hit the shops, there was no wasted time. He was a great listener, who took my ideas on board, while gently pushing me out of my comfort zone.But beyond Dan's professional skills, I most appreciated his honest advice on presenting my best self. I think his moniker of The Image Doctor" is apt

Dan came to my house and we had a chat about what I wanted in terms of styling and a new look. We then proceeded to the shops in town and explored many options for clothing and styles. He spent the whole day with me creating a new look and a new wardrobe. Jackets, shorts, shoes, jeans, pants, ties, belts, even getting t-shirts that fit right to my body type. Dans attention to detail, expert tips (love the shoe inserts, and wooden coat hangers!) and eye for style totally changed my perspective on how to look good, how to properly groom and take care of my clothes and my image, and what clothes do and don’t work for me.I would highly recommend Dan for anyone who wants to get a new look, change up their wardrobe, and increase their knowledge of styling and grooming. I could not recommend Dan high enough. He's highly skilled at what he does, the kind of expert who you'll always learn something from. Dan is very generous, he guided me to what options are available to improve and move my wardrobe forward, and still helps me with advice. I've been able to curb wasting my money on clothes that don't work which, previous to meeting Dan, I had been doing since my teens. Dan doesn't just pass on information but is a knowledge base of education on how to dress and look good, not just better, without looking under or over dressed (something I've been complimented on). My family gave me as a gift a couple of sessions with Dan.In all things, my time with Dan was excellent. I'm a bit ignorant about fashion and he helped educate me (no small feat) and importantly, literally go shopping with me to find things that suit me, look good, and work for my lifestyle.I've gone back to him multiple times for further advice and he's continued to be super helpful. Bottom line - I feel more confident and I'm sure I'm better dressed. Highly recommended

I admit I was a bit nervous of using a clothing stylist for the first time. But I needed to change up, basically only having hiking gear and old, poorly fitting t shirts in my wardrobe. Dan was amazing in every way, so professional and knowledgeable but really put me at my ease too. He really took time to listen to what I wanted, what I was comfortable in. He suggested some things I'd never have considered, and I love wearing them now. The whole thing was a game changer for me. Now I love choosing what to wear, even putting some thought into it, and going out - whether to work, pub, dinner or whatever - feeling I look sharp and clothes fit me well. I learned heaps, like buying multiple (cheaper!) items in different colours if it fits well. Or getting things I really like but don't fit and tailoring them. I can't recommend Dan's service highly enough.

Dan took the time to understand my requirements and came up with a totally suitable range of clothing options; knew where to shop, and knew how to style it all together. It was fun - not horrible. No hesitation in recommending. Will work together again!

This is such a long overdue review I wish I could give Dan 10 stars!Dan taught me how to up my style game without changing who I am. He is a thorough, enthusiastic, compassionate, and tireless stylist and I cannot recommend him enough.Dan spent literal *days* with me, reviewing my wardrobe, auditing my style preferences, highlighting gaps that could be filled and then embarking on an on-and-offline shopping outing ensuring I had all the pieces I need to go from full-time casual to smart casual to office smart / casual, to formal, finding beautiful, timeless pieces that fit my budget.He got me away from full time sneakers and jeans and taught me how to wear dresses and skirts, how to layer, accessorise, and still feel like my best self.I don't know when Dan has time to sleep, given the amount of time he put in, but I can confirm the absolute value for money. I think he spent about six to eight hours with me for each visit, audit, style edit, shopping, follow-up etc.Most importantly, Dan is a proper dog lover and he showered our dogs with as much love and attention as he did me and my husband who also got a makeover!Five stars. 10/10. Dan is amazing to work with on personal styling and clothing selection. He helped me a lot with clearing out my existing wardrobe of ill-fitting and out of style items. He also helped me to maximize what I already had with suggestions on outfits. We had a couple shopping trips together, and Dan is a complete expert in men's style and picking the right pieces to provide flexibility. I really felt after working with Dan I was better equipped to pick clothes that fit my style and looked great. It was a few years ago that I worked with Dan, but I'm still using a lot of his advice and outfit recommendations to this very day. I would highly recommend Dan's services to any guy who needs some help to update his style and wardrobe.
