Box Divvy

Box divvy is more like fruit lotto as it can be a bit of a lucky dip what you get from your order but that’s how it operates. Can be hit and Miss with qty and size. Makes it hard to plan meals though. On the whole I have found fruit and veg much fresher than supermarkets however I recently received two punnets of strawberries that were overly ripe and some were rotting. Both punnets went in the bin. Previous weeks strawberries have been great and still fresh after nearly 2 weeks. However the bit that really annoyed me was that when I posted a pic of the strawberries on our local group chat forum I was informed that any complaints about produce quality had to be in a private chat only and not shared with the group. Once I posted another person posted the same issue. So much for boxdivvy positioning themselves as a social enterprise. Happy share good news but issues I want to know about are swept under the carpet. This is not the first time there have been unacceptable quality issues. Mostly we have received the most beautiful fresh produce. The attitude is the issue!! Our local hubster said this is the directive from ‘head office’
