Knight Beach
A rocky headland with views to Granite Island and various headlands. Can be calm and pleasant or big swells unsuitable for swimming. Good for long walks with views with or without a canine companion. On occasions can watch the Cockle train pass along the coast.

Knight Beach
I had the pleasure of spending some time at the beach with one of the descendants of the first settlers of Knights Beach. It is only a small beach compared to some, but it has an interesting history. It puts a different dimension on a place when you learn some of the history surrounding it. There used to be caves in the cliffs where the local kids would explore. Long gone now for safety reasons. Thanks Nan. I was there on a calm day, however it is a great beach for surfing. The walk along the cliffs is very pleasant, in either direction, along some of the less visited beaches.
