Great place to stop overnight ...lots of wood split and ready to use ....we had the place to ourselves..This would be the third time I have stayed ...Lots of wildlife and few mossies but not bad ...the falls were running hard for this visa and my first time of seeing them with water.

You can see the waterfall from both sides. It’s debatable but personally I prefer the ‘Falls Lookdown’ - not the viewing platform right next to where you park but a few hundred meters after you cross the creek. We also saw a snake hunting frogs on the creek. Water wasn’t clean but the posted signage did explain.

What a wonderful little camp site.I tend to bush camp with a swag and tarp set-up and this place is just so versatile. Beautiful little built-in campfire areas with grills attached. Toilets. The morning is beautiful and foggy. Also, I was trying to escape a storm and I came to the right place. It's one of those places in the mountains that storms tend to break around so I didn't even get wet enough to worry while the storm carried on around me. Swag was dry in the AM.The scenery is beautiful. You can also get down behind the waterfall here. There is about 5-10m of room/cavern at the back of the falls. Careful going under, there's so much air in the water that you sink a metre or two into the deluge. Take a deep breath.Fantastic. 5 stars.

Got there with not too much trouble in my van. The roads ok for 2WD. Nice quiet camp near beautiful gorge, good toilets and firefits, level pitches. Great free camp.
