This is the greatest bar in Yamba, I had the most amazing time here and still can’t believe this bar, I am canceling my family’s trip to Bali in 2 months just to bring the family here, I am so excited.

A fine establishment, nearly always open.. if you can’t hear music or see lights it doesn’t means it closed - knock on the door both downstairs and upstairs.Beware the rule of ‘if you break it you’re out’ but a level teaspoon can clarify most concerns.

I struggled to find this bar, thinking maybe it was a stitch up and the Judderbar didn't exist. I spotted a worn track then went between 2 bushes and checked it out. There is was.. Genius secret entrance adding to the down-to-earth cool and mysterious vibes. Exceptional craft brews, the head Brewer is a master of yeast.

Follow the path, you won’t be disappointed. Best bar in the Clarence. This place goes off. Think ‘frog in a sock’ style. Years in Ibiza have set the standard, so awesome to find a slice of this in Australia.

The moment the door opens you’re hit with a palpable feeling of nostalgia. I’ve heard stories of the Viper Room in the 90’s with Johnny Depp and his friends owning the sunset strip, that doesn’t even come close to the famous Judda Bar. The Bashful Brewer has cultivated this speak easy where local legends line the pavement just to get a seat at the table with the man himself. Like studio 54 he can be often seen hand picking who gets in and who doesn’t, but don’t be discouraged if you aren’t one of the lucky ones, just keep trying. It’s worth it.

An intimate gem. We were lucky enough to snag seating in the lounge area and were treated to a tasting of the Bashful Brewer's bespoke range of craft beer - delicious! My partner was a little disappointed that the fireplace was out of commission, however, it was a warm night. We'll be back.
