Nothing can top wine tasting at the one and only - The Petersons! The location, the people and most especially the wine - is just top notch. I can’t say enough to recommend this place!And Maree, was such a great host when we were there. It makes the visit extra special!!!

Wow - just an amazing experience! Where to start, beautiful family cellar door buried deep into the heart of the Hunter Valley's Mount View vineyards. Just idyllic! Service was second to none, Callum was so knowledgable and personable, he sold the wines and even made me try some wines I wouldn't normally try and I loved them. Beautiful white wines, definitely head there if you love chardonnay, stunning! We will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this winery and it exceeded all my expectations. The wines, especially the Shiraz 2021, 2019, and Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, were exceptional. Each sip was a delight to the senses, showcasing the winery's dedication to quality. They have a great balance between wine quality and prices.What made the experience even more memorable was the exceptional service provided by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Our Ms was incredibly welcoming, guiding us through the tasting with expertise and passion. Her deep understanding of the wines and their characteristics added a special touch to the overall experience.The winery itself is a beautiful and inviting place. The ambiance was perfect for enjoying the wines and taking in the picturesque surroundings. It's evident that great care is taken in maintaining the vineyards and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for visitors.I highly recommend this winery to any wine enthusiasts or those looking to explore and appreciate quality wines. You won't be disappointed! I look forward to my next visit and further indulging in their exceptional offerings.

Cannot go past this OG vineyard; great wines and authentic, unpretentious tastings that have not changed in the 20+ years we have been visiting the Hunter. Petersons and the Mount View area are a must if in the Hunter.

We dropped into Petersons wines in October 2020 on our way home from the Hunter. We didn't have an appointment and we're willing to leave if they couldn't accommodate us, but they we're very accommodating and quickly decided we could stay and taste wines inside which was empty at the time. And then as luck would have it the person who started our tasting had to duck out and John the Pom came in and took his place. We didn't know it at the time but we were in for a treat, he is one of the most engaging and genuinely funny people you will ever have serve you wines! He quickly picked up on our preferences and before we knew it we had sampled over a dozen wines and we're blown away by how good some of them were, and the personal anecdotes and stories from John continued unabated. It was hands down our best wine tasting ever. We never once felt awkward or just another customer but we really did leave feeling like part of the family, and we took home a large selection of bottles.We also joined their wine club and i can honestly say after nearly a year of membership we look forward to each delivery of wines and they're always the first run out in our wine fridge.

Initially was a little put off but having to book and prepay for the tasting online before comming but we were Very glad we did!Staff were great very friendly, and knowledgeable. Tasting was great we left it to our hosts to pick out the wines for tastings and after talking to us she was able to select some really tasty wines.Looking forward to comming back for another tasting in the future.

Definitely our favourite winery in the Hunter Valley for so many reasons, firstly their sparking Cuve’e is the best sparkling wine we have ever tasted with a distinct crisp and clean flavor.Most importantly the wonderful Cherine so knowledgeable and accommodating and genuine, the whole experience was one we would never forget and cannot wait to return for. Thank you Petersons what a fabulous experience.

Absolutely my favourite winery that my friends and I visited. We we're greeted by Jess and instantly felt at home with her fun and joking energy. I learnt so much from her about the history of wine and the best ways to pair it with food. Also really loved the easy Tuesday Shiraz" as Jess called it. Would definitely recommend coming here

I love coming back to Petersons. The view, the wines and the staff are first class. Special thanks to Dee for the extra effort in discussing the wines we tasted and the friendly banter. Looking forward to our next trip back.
