H&R Block

I called in and ask for my tax return to be reviewed prior to me self lodging with ato. They booked me in for an appointment and said it would be $135 for the review. i rushed there after work and was then told they cannot complete a tax return review/ provide paid for advice. They claimed this would be giving work to the competition" (i take it this meant the ato is their competitor but that doesn't make much sense) and i was then quoted "over $250 for a return and it has to be with thier lodgement system". A waste of time and a real rort. I will never try to use h&r block again and recommend you avoid using them."
