Rediscovering Sydney and it's hidden gems. Clovelly beach. A great spot to take time to breathe in what this area has to offer in terms of a rugged coastline and all its beauty.

This is a great little beach, not too far from the heart of the city. It’s great to hang out, have a swim without the dangers of a big surf & waves. This is excellent to take kids snorkeling , great place to practice / learn if you are beginning to snorkel. The good thing about swimming at Clovelly is that you can enter & exit the water from the stairs on either side as it is concreted on both sides, to save you having to swim your way out from the shallows at the beach. The only difficult thing about Clovelly beach is that if you don’t get there early, it can be hard to get a car park. All in all, this is a great little beach, different from all others, I love coming here for a swim !

What a place to swim! Would have got 5* but two sets of steps down into the water were taped due to damage. Highly recommend Clovelly for anyone nervous about swimming in the sea. Clear water and lots of fish to admire.

A wonderful sheltered bay for swimming or snorkelling. Best to go around low tide if you want a good view of the fish. Saw a big blue groper last time we went.

One of my new favourite beaches! If you aren't a fan of sand between your toes or getting into everything, Clovelly is for you! Safe swimming area nestled between concrete platforms with steps and ladders down into the water. Take your snorkelling gear with you - there's lots to see! Love that there is a salt water pool there too. When you're ready to leave, there is an outdoor shower to rinse off. We've been here during the day and late at night when it's still hot outside. Beach is tiny - about 60m long but visiting Clovelly isn't about the actual beach, it's about everything else.Lots of parking however you may need to wait a while to get a spot. The earlier you can get here during the day the better. And avoid Sundays. Otherwise, you'll have to contend with little nippers and their parents jostling for car parking also.

Clovelly Beach
One of the best beaches of Sydney , you can even snorkel and see some colourful fishes, it gets busy during weekends but it is a must go beach in Sydney, you can swim in the ocean and even go for a walk next to the beach, there is a take away van and a cafe if you feel like having a meal or a drink

Clovelly Beach is more cement than beach but it is beautiful. And a bonus if you're not a fan of sandy beaches. There's plenty to eat in the area, a carpark and lots of space to sit if you're swimming or just visiting.

They call this the sand-less beach because there is more people laying out on the concrete than the sand! Great if your not a fan of sand. Lots of families here. There is a pool and a great walk path.
