Top quality service. The staff were very well educated as they shared the history of both the Falla cruise and the pearl industry. Despite my parents not being able to swim, they had an amazing time thanks to the constant care of the staff. Totally reccomend

Great experience with an amazing captain and crew! We went to two different reefs, Oyster and Upolu. We had enough time to snorkel and dive with spare time to have a glass of wine on the way back. Thanks heaps

Very disappointed. We booked with Falla because they explicitly advertised that they go out to the reef, in particular at the Coral Garden and Upolu Cay (see website/booking screenshots attached). BUT we were taken to Fitzroy Island instead, which is a small island just off the coast of Cairns (see pic).Although we complained during the sail, the capitan dismissed us and almost made fun of us, claiming that we were going to see “more beautiful corals” in Fitzroy (corals were nice, but not better than what you can see in any other tropical location).If you are looking for the unique Australian experience of sailing toward the outer reef and suddenly get to the reef after some miles of open ocean, well DON’T book with Falla. You might be just brought snorkeling on the submerged rocks of a coastal island, like in any regular snorkeling trip elsewhere (no need to spend hundred dollars to get up to Cairns for that!)We understand that in case of bad weather or danger the capitan can choose to go to another spot for safety. And if we were taken to another spot in the SAME outer reef area (instead of Upolu Cay / Coral Garden) it would have been fine. But going to Fitzroy island is just a completely different experience, and we didn’t book that one! And by the way, the weather/conditions were perfectly fine, this was also confirmed to us by locals and other sailors, see also pic attached. So there was no real reason to change the plan.This was our only chance to go to the great barrier reef and we tailored all our holiday around this trip. And Falla has screwed it! No one will give us back the money and the time to redo it. If you want to avoid surprises choose another company or make sure that they deliver what they promise.

What Awesome Experience today with the Falla crew! On time, great snorkeling and scuba diving location - I tried both. Doug and lovely crew are very knowledgeable about the Great Barrier Reef, expert PADI divers and most importantly fun-loving bunch. The Ambience was Magnifique!!! The best boat trip that i heave been. Captain with deep knowledge of the coral reef and with passion. He exactly knows any place that show you. The bout is fantastic too with history. Good lunch on the ship. I will recommend this trip for everyone!

If you like a traditional ship (yacht) ride. You should go with them. We have a really good time and experience with them. All the crews are friendly and patience. An individual crew will looked after a small group of ppls and pointed interesting and rare corals during the activities. They do serve water and foods on the ship. Not only that but beers, soft drinks, and champagnes also available on ship. Enjoy.

We had an amazing snorkel trip onboard the historic Falla! Captain Doug, Daniel and the fabulous diving guide from Tahiti made this day unforgetable for us! That was the best trip we had on our four weeks journey through Australia. We were a small group, the crew took perfectably care after everyone and was very friendly with the children. We saw lots of fishes at our snorkeling spots and even a giant sea turtle! The food was good, at the end we got wine and a cheese platter and lots of interesting stories from Doug. We highly recommend this tour!

A perfect day on the reef, Doug and his team were very friendly and informative. A 20 people maximum on the beautiful sailing boat made our day personal, casual and laidback. We were well fed and watered throughout the day and saw some incredible marine life while snorkeling. The highlight of my day was mooring up at sunset with cheese and wine, listening to stories from Captain Doug, bliss. A great day out for couples and small groups.

My partner and I sailed out to the reef during our summer break with the Falla. We were extremely fortunate to stumble upon this kind of great barrier reef tour as it couldn't have been more charming. We were a rather intimate crowd with a great crew and sailing out to the reef was an experience in itself. I would recommend taking the Falla to anyone who enjoys experiences that are authentic and non commercialized!
