Wishing Well
The Wishing Well is mid point of a out and back walk from Fern Tree.Approx 5km walk from Fern Tree along the Pipeline Track via Silver Falls offers views of early Hobart water catchment infrastructure, yhe city and beautiful native forests.Along the trail forests changes including regenerated wet forest with myrtle and ferns.Very good condition track, easy to follow.Tiolet block at Fern Tree trail head. Parking at Fairy Dell carpark on the Huon Road, just before Fern Tree.

The walk from Fern Tree is the experience! Nice shaded walk along good track with avenues of native trees. A casual 25 minutes each way.

A wonderfully peaceful place, with a fascinating history. Well worth the gentle walk to recharge the nature-batteries and breathe the clear air.
