I have been a member of the chamber for over 10 years. There are always great speakers at each of the events on a variety of topics relating to the local area and business. It has also been great for networking with other business owners and building relationships.

I have been intimately involved with what is now the Greater Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce, for many years as a committee member and the last couple of years as Co-Vice President – why? Because it is a great voice for small business across the Southern Gold Coast, which as we all know is the backbone of business activity. Dealing with every level of government, we put forward local businesses' concerns and suggestions regarding every issue that affects business – whether it be the M1, light rail, Commonwealth Games, tourism and events. And with our relationship with Connecting Southern Gold Coast, our combined voice will help to ensure a thriving and vibrant Southern Gold Coast community and business environment.
