Anbangbang Rock Shelter
Lovely bush walk and colourful cliffs and rock formations. Take plenty of cold water and sunscreen. Nice rock paintings and history.

A mixture of ancient rock art,and some more modern ones from the 1960s as well.Signs to give some history and meaning to the art.

Nice and well prepared walk through the rock formations and finally up to the viewpoint with a stunning view.Took me about 40 minutes (including taking photos).There are different sites with Aboriginal paintings on this walk. Parts of it are also accessible by wheelchair.

Really enjoyed walking around seeing the indigenous art, I also climbed up high to see the view of ARNHEM land best view ever, untouched left at its natural beauty.

Easy walking thru the history of Aboriginal habitat. Shelter is cooler than expected. A good place to visit in the hot day.

Beautiful art, termites were coming out of ground to the artwork so park rangers were there removing the mud so they don't destroy the paintings which I thought was excellent
