Very pittoresque location, and well suited as destination of a small MTB tour.

The drive can be a challenge. Narrow dirt road with very little areas to pull over and let a vehicle pass by. Car parking is sufficient. Tunnel takes about a minute to walk through although can be difficult to get photos as it’s dark. I guess if you’re driving by with time to kill, it wouldn’t hurt taking a look.

The 1.5km road to to get to the tunnel is a dirt road track. The history is just great and to think what was achieved in the early 1900.

Small roads with lots of potholes, not ideal for smaller cars. Just a couple of signs, old foundations and the tunnel itself. Interesting history.

Loved the history available on the plaque. . Didn’t realise the drive up was on the old railway track until at the top Couldn’t see any Glow worms in the tunnel however absolutely stunning. Must do when in Zeehan

Very unique place to visit. It's a bit confusing as you drive up it seems like you have to walk 2km to the tunnel but you can actually drive it's just very narrow dirt road. When you get to the tunnel there's very little signage/explanation of the walk time etc.The signage around it could be improved greatly, but as a landmark it is worth seeing.

Worth the trek out from the nearby town of Zeehan. Well preserved and the surrounding areas offer walks in the vicinity. It's peaceful and not too crowded. Plenty of plaques with history notes to read. It's a tricky dirt road getting there, but everyone's pretty courteous giving way, as required. Well worth the visit.

Had amazing time exploring the tunnel. The drive towards the place was pretty thrilling being very narrow inside the forest. The tunnel itself was much exciting and thrilling on evening while it was dark. We were close to nature on oitch black tunnel with chill surrounding and fresh air. The tour can be completed within 15-20 minutes and just a few steps away from a car park.

Didn’t see any glow worms :-(All in all probably wouldn’t have driven out of my way for it in hindsight but it was a pretty cool tunnel with an interesting history. Be super careful on the road in and out it’s essentially one way and kind of terrifying!
