Friendly Grocer

Such an awesome local store. It has everything you could want and more. In the words of family member “this is the best store ever!”. It Has unique tourist items. An excellent range of self-serve nuts, grains and dried products. The small cafe/take away area has something for everyone. The pies are especially nice. Visit here and you won’t be disappointed.

A review on behalf of my brother.Pie great, but the pastry was only at 50% capacity of what it could potentially hold with meat.The treats: he specifically said “daddy likes”

Absolutely disgusting behaviour by the young woman behind the counter. She literally laughed in my face and had appauling tone while backchatting. I am a part of the comminuty and have been for a couple of years now. I even plan on getting married in scotts head and will be conveying to all 100 of my guests not to buy a single thing there. Ive never dealt with someone so rude before. They need to retrain their staff to understand what customer service is. With staff like that i dont know how they keep their customer base. I know my family and i will never return and i will be contacting quite a few people about how disrespectfully i was treated. Please please do not go here. I cannot warn you away enough. Buy your groceries before you go to scotts head so you do not have to encounter this revolting behaviour. I treat my dog better than the way i was treated there today.

Great homemade and cooked hamburgers at an affordable price.Does offer local fish which is great considering most places have imported frozen fish even the Fisherman's Co op at Coffs.They have reasonably quick service at busy times eg tea time.Seating out the front is pleasant.Only a shirt walk to the beach or reserve also.Sella coffees & teas also.Cold drinks are also available.Good to be able to purchase this type of food during the Scott's festival .

Large local IGA supermarket which has all of your basic needs plus a bit more. I was quite surprised at the size, and the stock they carried. The nearest big supermarket is a Woolies in Macksville if you need something a bit more specific, however for bread, milk and average cooking needs - look no further. Prices are pretty good too and it's only a skip across from the caravan park/beach.

Friendly staff, well stocked for a small store, fruit & veg are fresh and good quality, wide selectionoftakeaway foods. Botero coffee is very good.
