First this is not the Saravana Bhavan chain in South India and they don't claim it to be. So if you were looking for authentic south Indian cuisine this is not the place for you. You need to reserve tables here but was happy to be accommodated. The staff is courteous and hence the 3 stars. You also get parking nearby which is good. Now to the main part - The food - is not that good. The Biriyani we ordered felt too dry and burnt and it felt like it was reheated in a microwave. The curry was not flavourful. Overall it was an expensive mistake. I had to go to the real original Sarava Bhavan in paramatta to redeem myself.I will not recommend but given the other experiences you can try your luck.

I love this place, great selection of South Indian or Tamil food. I have been to this restaurant numerous times and the quality has been great. The food is tasty, reasonably priced and morw important the staff are super friendly. If you want to try South Indian food in Sydney this place is a must visit

We ordered a plate of vada sambhar and naan with paneer masala. While the naan and paneer masala were amazing, the vada sambhar fell short of our expectations. Would come back here when I'm craving some delicious naans, but maybe not for South Indian meals. The staff were friendly and the place was clean.

was here for a birthday party. the staff were amazing, friendly, introduced every dish to the table despite being incredibly busy. the food was fantastic and definitely would be a repeat customer if I'm in the area. they also had one of the best naans I have ever tried.

Oh man! To sum it up in a few words... SO SO SOOOOOO GOOOOD! The owner also often makes an effort to have a quick chat if it's not too busy, providing that little bit of an extra personalised touch.

Great little local gem, I'm not even a local but I love coming to eat here. Highly recommend the sizzling prawns, goan fish curry and lemon rice. Everything here is amazing but these will definitely be the dishes you'll order every time and keep coming back for.

We have lived here for 5 years and have never tried this place so we bought take out.My teen really loved the butter chicken with fresh big garlic naan. Lamb chops are chunky and worth the money with a lil side of lime/lemon and a yoghurt dip and crunchy cabbage.All blends in well together and the Chicken korma medium hot is nice.Maybe should've asked for hot as it was nice as well. We will go here again for sure!Meals are under $30, garlic naan round $5.90 also extra for rice.Plenty of seating for you and friends/family or great for a corporate get together.Parking on the strand or behind the old post office building near the lights. Wish we seen this place earlier! Take out, dine in and delivery on offer. Good service.

I love eating here. The food is so good that I keep coming back each time I'm in Croydon. The service is extra special too and I feel at home on arrival with the complimentary dips and papadums. The extra serving bowls were duly noted since I last came. Thank you again for a great dining experience. Can't wait till next time.
