Moran Aged Care Roxburgh Park

Would l recommend this facility? 100% No,the director is liar, gives you a false sales pitch, promises the world and doesn't deliver, it's all about the money and filling the bed, if your parent or loved one is a bit difficult to deal with, her answer is put them in the Dementia wing in a locked ward where they can't bother the staff at reception, the answer is sedate them to keep them quiet, definately a nursing home that doesn't care about the well being of the patient, this is my families experience of Moran nursing home

I’ve been with Moran for almost 7years and in that time I have enjoyed the company of residents, family members and staff. The home is well run and staff go the extra mile to make a difference to the lives of our residents. The management team is approachable and focuses on quality of life for our residents. The home is always willing to support activities and events that create special moments for residents and their families. Residents play an important role through committees in determining many of the decisions involving their lives at Moran.

I had to put my friend into respite as I have to have major surgery. I was terrified at the thought of putting her into respite due to reports of bad nursing homes. After she stayed at Moran Roxburgh Park for one and a half months she loved it she loved the staff and activities and was quite sad on leaving. She always looked clean and well looked after when I was able to visit. I couldn't have asked for a better nursing home to look after her We will be back.Thanks to all the staff from Managers down to cleaning staff you are all fantastic.

I have worked with Moran for 7 years. I cant speak highly enough about this company. The staff care deeply for the residents. The community feel we have is a credit to the residents,families,staff and management.Our management team has a focus on educating our staff which in turn benefits staff and residents.Our focus on caring for residents with dementia is exemplary.The lifestyle team provides an array of activities engaging the residents and providing purpose for our residents along with much joy and laughter.

We have recently placed my Mum in Moran Aged Care in Roxburgh Park which is a massive decision for not only my Mum but my family as well and I cannot be more complimentary of the staff so far. It is only early days but from the minute we spoke with Rhys at Moran it was clear that he knew the importance of the decision Mum and the family were making and from the minute we walked in the door Mum was made to feel comfortable, welcomed and reassured that everything was going to be ok. With such an emotional decision he has made the transition so easy and seamless and can't thank him enough.

My mum has been a resident at Moran for over 5 years, she loves it and her health actually improved a bit after becoming a resident. The staff are amazing and truly do care for all residents. There are lots of activities and the occasional outing, which the residents love. There is a real community spirit between staff, residents and families of residents. Cannot thank the staff enough they do an exceptional job in an often difficult field.

Feed back we received from Wendy Haley one of our newer residents daughter as followsHaving visited my mother at various times of the day on different days, I have found her to be always well cared for. She has commented that she is happy and feels well. Observing the staff caring for her I have found them to be very helpful and diligent. I am very comfortable that she is being cared for well.
