I started working with Lauren at Shoebox Bookkeeping in 2016. I can tell you that she has transformed my life. She is non-judgmental at the state of my accounts but more importantly she works tirelessly keep everything in shape. Made the transition a few months ago to to Shoebox books after I lost confidence with offshore bookkeeping service I had used for 6 years. I was introduced to Lauren via my online application as she looks after the bayside area. It's probably the best move I've made for quite a few years. Lauren has been impeccable from our first meeting. From being incredibly meticulous during the transition from the offshore bookkeeper, instantly picking up on quite a few abnormalities in the existing accounts which I had not been aware of. She has also offered advice and Implimented ways to streamline my accounts as well as put systems in place to simplify information regarding timesheets, payrol and receipt processing for me and my employees.Off shore bookkeeping can look quite appealing when they show you the savings compared to local but I've now worked out there is nothing better than being able to work with a local who totally understands small businesses and the Australian taxation system to the T. The cost difference between Shoebox books has only been Marginally more expensive than offshore but the cost of peice of mind in my opinion is priceless.I highly recommend!!!
