Worst customer service. Do not build your home with this company! You will have issues and they will not answer your calls or emails. Do not believe the sales hype. Stick with a larger house builder, these guys are cowboys. I'm currently in a legal battle to sort out multiple issues with my house. The owner of the business will ignore all communication attempts.

We recently constructed a home with McLachlan Homes and we are happy to say that we love every aspect of our new home. The finish is of such a high quality and they really take so much pride in the construction of their homes.Before construction began our dealings with the salesperson and our customer service officer where so personal and informative. Brad’s office kept us up to date on the progress of everything, all variations to our design , paint colors, tile selections, cabinets & absolutely everything to accommodate our individual needs.When Construction was ready to begin we were given a program on the stage of the construction, an estimated time frame for completion and an introduction to our site supervisor who was very accessible and easy to deal with.Before the completion of our home we walked through the final project to make sure everything was at the standards McLachlan Homes’s set and any variations were complete.After we moved in we found a few little things that needed attention and we contacted McLachlan Homes and they arranged for them to be fixed immediately and it was so smooth and easy.We would most certainly not hesitate in building another home with McLachlan Homes. They really just had that understanding of how important it was for us to get what we wanted in our new home.

McLachlan Homes are a very professional building company that I would highly recommend.The team, office staff and subcontractors were all very professional to deal with, had great communication and were very happy to help us in any way they could. Our build is of a very high standard. Thank you to the entire team.

Our experience with McLachlan was great from start to finish.Starting with Richard down at there burpengary display home. Very knowledgeable, efficient easy to deal with.Sophie looked after the contract and variations. Nothing was to hard and we got all our answers and responses very quickly.Aaron our site supervisor kept us in the loop on a weekly bases with multiple site meeting and discussions. His organisation, management of trades and attention to detail was exceptional.Being in the building industry myself, McLachlan allowed us to remove items from the build and use our own trades to complete these works.There finishes and build quality was exceptional.Would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting to build there dream home.

McLachlan build a nice home, and we are happy with our house. The positives from McLachlan is a superior finish on the house and a good site supervisor in Nick who was always available and helpful. The house Is really beautiful and we are happy it feels premium. They include a lot of things as standard that other builders don't and don't try to lure you in with gimmicks.However that being said McLachlan could do better with communication in certain fields. We found that we were being told things that were important and costly at a moments notice which was frustrating. We were also told that our house pad cut which was on a very sloping acreage property wouldn't require retaining walls and could be battered. This was not the case and we ended up having to retain our house pad which added significant costs unexpectedly.They also cut the pad for our water tanks in the incorrect area as well and when it was to be rectified the pad was incorrectly cut again. Lucky my retaining wall guy was able to fix it.It would be good if McLachlan were straight up with their customers like us who were building for the first time. We needed guidance and honesty and I felt sometimes we didn't get that.Our site supervisor was amazing and helped us heaps so I cannot fault Nick, but other areas could have been better.Overall a good company to work with if you want a nice house. Not that great with the site works, seems to be an afterthought.But yeah Nice house at least.****Update 9Months later****Water tank leaking, Called Rachel (I think that's her name) at McLachlan maintenance and had plumbers here 2 days later. Good to deal with for this issue where I know other builders take ages to rectify issues.House has been really good too with no faults as of yet. House withstood the 4 days of non stop rains so that's awesome. Happy with our house

We are absolutely over the moon with our new home at Bokarina Beach! From start to finish, McLachlan were amazing. Adam Mauer (McLachlan Architect) guided us through the designing of our home from the start. We were able to customise it to suit our needs and our family. A beautifully simple and elegant design. Our site supervisor (Dave McGinn) was a legend from the beginning. No question or query was too hard. He kept us in the loop with everything and made sure we were communicated with every step of the way. From slab pour to final walk through, Dave was always there and always contactable. As far as the admin / paperwork side went, Sarah Manz in the office was also super easy to deal with and made a normally complicated situation very easy.The quality and finishes of the build is great. And any little things that needed attention were dealt with quickly and resolved easily. McLachlan Homes clearly pride themselves on designing and producing a great quality final product.Overall, the experience was fab and our new home is a dream. Planning to build our first house was a daunting experience, even more so by it being a custom build. However, it was an amazing journey and our end to experience with McLachlan Homes was outstanding.McLachlan Homes insightful inputs into our custom design and their consultation during both the planning and build process was a standout; and we actually felt like we were part of the team in the design & build process towards our shared vision.Coordinating the customisations, changes and selections was the ever patient Sophie, whose attention to detail and timeliness was outstanding, she kept us up to date and on track throughout the process. She is an amazing project coordinator!McLachlan Homes suppliers deserve a mention too; McLachlan’s standards and service are certainly embraced by those who they use. From the cabinetry & kitchen design process to tile selections, through to the trades onsite. Friendly, informative and patient, they cemented the entire process together seamlessly.On site our experience with Nick and the team, during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic was phenomenal. The coordination and their craftmanship was amazing, with our own building inspector being highly complementary on the quality job of the build, as well as our developer (who used to be a builder and happens to be our neighbour too!).Thanks again to Brad and the whole McLachlan team! The end result was exactly what we were striving for and we take comfort that we will be living in a quality home for many years to come

This is the 4th home we have built and McLachlan are leaps and bounds ahead of any of our previous experiences. The quality, the communication, the follow up and flexibility throughout the build and the willingness to let us interact, means our ideas were able to evolve as our home came to life. Such a personable approach.This was achieved with the support, knowledge and interaction from our site supervisor- Dave and the ongoing guidance and follow up from Anson.
