I went in with my son who has additional needs, we’ve never had an issue with any hairdressers. My son is 9yrs and he sits still but he needs to be told to not touch and turn the way they want him to. My son had a guy who was mute, he just wouldn’t speak to him at all and I had to instruct my son how to sit. Our usual hairdresser was away so thought I’d try these guys, never again. Not only did the guy took ages but he charged me $5 more so $30 total!!! Because they said it was difficult. I went just the day to Tidorys ( think they’ve changed names) on bunnerong road and they are great. The guy finished his hair in like 10min if that, I felt so ripped off and disappointed. Felt sorry for my son because the guy ignored him completely and charged us more for his incompetence, I didn’t say anything at the time as I was shocked and was not prepared to be treated this way.Poor service, very disappointing!!!!!!Christina (mum)

I never leave reviews especially not negative ones. I have long shoulder length hair on top and a fade on the side. I asked the barber 3 times not to cut the top too short as I wait my hair tied in a bun. He absolutely butchered it.ive never had such terrible haircut in my whole life. I now have to sport a terrible haircut for the next few months.His name was Hassan. I dont get anything out for his except to maybe prevent him butchering someone else haircut.There are heaps of barbers in the area. Do yourself a favour chaps and skip this one if you take pride in your appearance and you want a good haircut.

I have been using they guys on and of for over 10 years. Would recommend about average price good work moden styles of cuts

Love getting my haircut here. The fellas are always accommodating and take their time no matter how busy they are. I'm now out of Sydney but still try and get my hair cut here any opportunity that I get!

My family and i have been coming here for 11 years, and for good reason. The boys at Beyond Kutz take pride and care in what they do. Yusef and Ali especially are experts at what they do and id highly recommend asking them for a haircut.

Took my son in for a haircut today. He took like 10 minutes and practically rushed us out. I asked for him to fade the side, he did a number 1 all over. I asked him to clean up my sons sideburns and without asking what shape I wanted, he shaved them straight across. I asked him to tidy up the front around my sons forehead and he rushed it completely, its not even at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! I regret taking my son there. If you want A1 barbers, go to Uppercuts at Eastgardens and ask for Scissor Sam.Edit: Scissor Sam has his own shop now in Lexington, check him out!

Needed a last minute haircut for my kids and our regular barber wasn't available so we wound up here. The owner is so rude and tries to boss all of the customers around. Hopefully he'll learn some people skills before his grumpy attitude puts him out of business. The young lady (Pam) who cut my kid's hair was actually patient and has skills, but the owner thinks he's speaking to cattle and everyone is just another number. Won't be back that's for sure.

The few times I've been here have left me with a good cut and a nicely trimmed and shaped beard! The staff have always been friendly. My only quibble is that they only take cash (though it does mean no hassle with network connections).

Want to stress, the cut looks ok, not amazing but not bad- reason for my 1 star review is because I asked for the complete opposite of what I got. The guy didn't listen at all!Initially I asked just for a beard trim and shape. He's just assumed I also wanted a haircut. I said ok but just tidy and shape it because it's a little messy. I'm happy with the length of my hair, do not lose the length, no shaving shorter than a 4. I repeated that multiple times... KEEP THE LENGTH.Started with the beard, a little short at a number 2, but it looked good. Then he's gone all the way up my beard, sideburns and all the way to my hairline, shaved at a number 2. Then he's gone a number 1 - 2 on the sides and back.I didn't want short! How is that acceptable? You literally just did what you thought would look good, and while again, it's not a bad haircut, the reason I didn't want short is because I'm in direct lighting for my job as a livestreamer, and I don't want to look bald. Longer hair looks better in the camera with my lighting, yet you've just done it anyway.Only going here for the beard trims in future, nothing more. Don't let them touch your hair, unless you're happy with it being extremely short.
