There is a reason why the lunch queue is so long! Yes it is well worth the wait, usually 15-20 mins. Their crispy pork bahn mi hits the spot every time. As a regular here, never been disappointed!

Two words.. Utterly Delicious! Seeing the long queue, I decided to give this place a try. The Banh Mi's are a delight. I tried the Trang special and Crispy Pork roll. Both were fingerlicking good! The pork meat was extremely tender and juicy. Absolute one of my top picks for Vietnamese rolls.It's likely you have to queue up for 5 10 minutes as it gets extremely busy though serving is quite quick. I would absolutely recommend crispy pork and Trang special. Will surely go back for the Trang special roll and try out the other items.Great food at a good price.

There is always a line outside of the bakery so I went there out of curiosity. The crispy pork Banh Mi was okay, and it is the most expensive Banh Mi I have had in Melbourne. It was a bit dry because there wasn’t much dressing. The crispy pork was quite dry as well. Staff is lovely and super friendly there! It is quite a good option for lunch if you can’t go further to look for other bakery with Banh Mi. But if I am not in a rush, I would probably drive to Hawthorn or Richmond.

It’s definitely overhyped. The queue doesn’t justify the end product. It’s an average banh mi. Tried the “mock meat” it is terrible.Pork BBQ is ok, but a 5/10 for flavor and texture metrics.Surely there is better on offer for the price.

I don’t like to queue but the Crispy Pork Banh Mi at Trang’s is well worth the wait. Crispy fatty succulent pork in a fresh banquette topped with their special sauce, Yum.i

Long queue to the bakery made me think the banh mi was going to be good but what a disappointment. Crispy pork tested.Bread roll - not fresh and not crispy 3/10Crispy pork - meat and crackling was ok 5/10Vegetables - coleslaw drowned in mayonnaise missing the essential coriander and spring onions and pickled carrots and onion 4/10Overall 4/10 - the coleslaw made the banh mi taste like mayonnaise, missing pate, coriander, spring onion, pickled carrots, onion......altogether a forgettable lunch.

Absolutely love Trang. The Banh Mi’s are great. Several vegetarian and even vegan options. Does get extremely busy during lunchtime and you’re likely to have to queue up for 10-15 mins so go early or later and you should be served pretty much straight away!

I'm a regular customer at this place and the food is incredible. But today I turned up, and got my regular order, somehow, this wizard behind the counter had not only constructed the best Banh mi I've ever had, but perhaps one of the best Sandwitches I have ever put in my mouth. It was like I was tasting god itself and took me over 10 minutes to recover.Highly recommend.
