I've probably spent 2-3 hours in this place before I picked out a rifle. Great service and the knowledge from the staff is too notch. As a new guy in the sport they helped me with everything from ammo, understanding ballistics to how to mount a sight the right way. Great prices too!

I had 3 rifles on consignment at this shop, all three were sold which is great. Unfortunately I received no notification that they had been sold only a week after putting them up for sale. I attended the shop with the intention of retrieving the firearms after a month, of which I thought there was no interest in the guns. The female attendant whom I dealt with was rude, abrupt and treated me such contempt I will never step foot back in this shop. I have only spent a thousand or so dollars in this business thank god, as I will never spend another cent. When I asked the female attendant for the dates of sale she promptly told me accounts would have to do that and they are back on Monday (this was Saturday). A male attendant, who actually I dealt with when I put the guns up for sale initially, came over and low and behold the dates were retrieved within a minute. I have bought guns and ammo at Pagan and Halls and have always been treated courteously and the attendants at these establishments have always gone out their way to give good advise on products where necessary. Malcolm, I hope you employ better staff down at your Mackay store!!!

Best Shop in town! Staff only help you with what you are chasing and don’t try to steer you in the direction of what they want to sell! Very knowledgeable!
