A beautiful welcoming and warm place with amazing food. I recommend eating here. We were welcomed straight away with water and a broth that opened up your appetite. Had a quick chat with the staff and he gave an amazing suggestion after getting to know what we wanted and what we could and couldn't eat.

We went there on a sunny Sunday. The staff welcomed us with a warm smile, and we sat outside. The dishes they brought out looked amazing. The mix of flavours and spices were perfectly balanced and all of us really enjoyed it.This is my very personal opinion but I felt as though I was in overseas for the entire time there. I don't know enough about Somali food, but I found the entire experience really authentic. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

This is an amazing place serving amazing East African cuisine (Somalian) cooked by the man himself who also runs this place.What's also unique about this place is the hospitality, extremely warm and welcoming.Highly recommended.

Stopped to read the menu on the door. Invited in by owner to try a share platter for lunch today. The lamb, spiced rice and salad plate ($25 for 2) was terrific. This was accompanied by a wonderful lamb broth. Coupled with great service we will definitely be back for more.

Delicious food and friendly service. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday and the food was ready within 15-20min. We even received a complimentary broth on arrival. Music was awesome with a mix of 90s R&B. Things that make you go “mmmm”. #respect The meal in the picture is the NSK Combo.

Oh My Allah. This place is a solid 9/10 for flavour. Easily one of the best meals I've ever had. The rice, the banana, the lamb, the veggies, the chilli, the mango lassi style yogurt.... All of it was AMAZINGThis is now permanently on my list of places I MUST visit every time I visit Melbourne

$20-LambFriendly owner recommended the plate for 1 person and you can choose lamb or goat.First coming is a soup with a rich flavor and it is really hot. I like it but a little bit salty. And then is a big portion of plate with lamb, rice and salad. Lamb is so tender and you can easily to separate the meat and bone. And you can dipping the spicy sauce to increase the flavor. Rice contain a lot of spice, it tastes good. Recommended it!!!

NSK Combo was a favourite. Their menu selection was limited but everything was SO packed full of flavours! The side Sambusa was nicely crispy and loved the mango/yoghurt dessert as well as the banana that came with every meal (which was a Somalian custom). A must visit when in Flemington.
