Our experience with Ryan was next level! She is a genuinely kind soul who puts absolutely everything into her clients shoots! She helped me plan the perfect outfits for my family, and worked with me to pick the location that best represented us. On the evening of the shoot she was kind, loving, personable and oh so genuine in creating wholesome moments that are now captured forever! We can't wait for our next shoot! ❤ thank you Ryan!

From the moment we met Ryan, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. Her zest for life and down-to-earth nature allowed us to be ourselves for our photo shoot. I always loved Ryan's storytelling but the photos I received back exceeded our expectations. She captured the most vulnerable and special moment of my life- my pregnancy, and the photos are beyond perfect. I had to rebook for our newborn shoot because of the first experience. Our newborn shoot was magical. It was like sitting with an old friend, drinking coffee and talking all things. The photos of us, now a family of 3, are so special and unlike any other. Ryan is a wonderful person and photographer. Made me feel beautiful when I didn’t feel it. We welcomed Ryan into our home to capture us as a new family of four. Life with a newborn and two under two is hectic but she brought such a sense of calm to our time together, taking the time to play with our toddler so he was comfortable with her and settle our baby so mum could have a break. She was incredible and the pictures we have from that day will be cherished forever.

As soon as I met Ryan at a location maternity session I instantly felt comfortable and knew it was going to be an amazing shoot. With being very knowledgeable of the location and timing the photo backdrops were just magical. I was so eager to see the beauty that Ryan produces checking socials for a sneak peek and my emails a few times a day until proofs arrived. Ryan made the session so comfortable, fun and I love how much effort is put in to resulting in the most stunning photography. I cannot wait for our in inhome session in the weeks to come.

I highly recommend engaging Ryan Thompson for your newborn or family photos.As someone who finds having photos taken and being the centre of attention incredibly awkward, I was surprised by how comfortable Ryan made me feel. She is also amazing with kids and puts them at ease and leaves them feeling like rockstars.Her photos are beautiful, natural and not overly styled, but really the reason I would recommend her is the whole experience she crafts. She tries to make the whole process as effortless as possible for you.She will come to your house, which can be so much easier for many new mums in the early weeks, or you can access her beautifully styled photo studio if, like us, you can't face the thought of prepping your house! The recent mini-session we booked even included a hairdresser to style your hair.In particular, having access to her client wardrobe was a godsend - I didn't have any nice clothes that fit post-pregnancy, and didnt relish the idea of wasting money on an outfit that I wouldn't wear again once I drop back to my normal weight.She also has a wardrobe for children, which saved us a trip to the shops trying to wrangle a toddler to try on outfits.We ummed and ahhed about whether to bother with professional photos and it almost ended up in the too hard basket especially as time seemed to just race by during and after our second pregnancy, juggling work, a newborn and a toddler, but we are so glad we took the plunge to organise these photos to capture a moment of this crazy time, so we can cherish it forever.Her whole process has been thoughtfully curated for busy new mums in mind and I can't express what a difference that makes. Make sure to get in touch early, ideally during your pregnancy or asap after, as she does book out, and then just relax and leave the rest to her very capable hands.

We just had our fourth session with Ryan and left feeling purely joy, love and just on cloud 9! This talented soul has an amazing team of friendly, loving and helpful ladies who make the experience seamless and so enjoyable! My kids didn’t want to leave! Above all, I’m excited to get the beautiful images Ryan captured, priceless memories that we will cherish forever.
