my friend and i did this walk just before sunset on a week day and hardly saw any people really. it was during the dry season and even the waterfall was stunning and unbelievable at that point. i think it was about 1.7km. pretty short track. well maintained. lots of amazing birds and you are just walking on a track that is half way up the rainforest it’s like a jungle.

Good view and history of the electric power dams. The walkway is very well built.

The train was leaving just as we arrived to the platform. The Din Din falls are spectacular in height with many layers as it goes down to the gorge. Would be amazing to see it in full flow. Easy access. A good amount of parking and public toilets.

After the rains it was flowing really well. Great views from the train and the opposite side on both the cable car and the walk from the cable car station. Very short and easy walk.

A nice place to visit. If you are driving, use 'Barron Falls Car Park' to bring you to the right direction. From the car park there's a wheel chair accessible path all the way to the lower lookout (gravel path toward the end- about 50m). There are 2 lookout points. The first one is just 1 mim walk from the car park. The lower one is 15min walk 1 way. Both have the same view, so if you are tired/have not enough time, just go to the first one. Free parking, free entry.

Amazing and huge waterfalls as you could see in photos. Also, you can get a train at village and stop at each station to have different points of view.

This falls is just a short drive from the Kuranda Rainforest Market accessible by Scenic Train , Skyway and car. We went mid January and the abundance of rainfall during that time made the water fall from great to spectacular. The waterfall was just roaring, with millions of litres of water constantly pumping. This is truly an awesome experience and really have to be there to experience it.

The Skyrail trip to Barron falls was amazing the return train trip on the other hand was not. crammed in like sardines couldn't see anything from our seat so did not enjoy that part, my suggestion take the sky rail both ways

Stopped at the Barron Falls lookout for about 10min while on the Kuranda Scenic Railway. Cascade style waterfall on the Barron River. Part of the Barron Gorge National Park. Further views from the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway on the return trip.

This was way more than expected. Being from California, where Yosemite is all about waterfalls, I found its match. Barron Falls is a collection of several waterfalls falling into extremely deep gorge. This is from a stop on the train going to Kuranda in Queensland, Australia.
