Rob's Transmission Shop

I travel to the Gold Coast on a regular basis to visit family. I have a Ford Ranger 4x4 Auto. Just got to 100,000k and appeared not to be shift as well as usual. I was advised to take it to Robs Transmission to have him test drive the Ranger. I did this and was immediately impressed with his workshop and Rob recommend a service Auto oil change, using a top grade transmission oil. Rob done the service finding no big issues, but the service made a big difference to my transmission. Very happy.

Can’t recommend enough! I do a lot of kilometres so really need my car to be 100% at all times. Had a terrible major service done at another shop and Rob fixed everything up perfectly for me. Awesome bloke and awesome service! See you next time!

Rob is a genuine person, and knows what his talking about, when he fixed my Suzuki Swift's Auto Transmission. He assured me, that when he was finished, that my car would be as good as new. Thanks so much Rob for putting my mind at ease and for the professionalism you showed me. Money well spent.

Currently running my third transmission built by Rob. All three have performed perfectly due to Rob taking the time to work out what is needed to build a box to suit the motor/car setups perfectly. For each. I've never had anyone build a better one.

Wow, what a great experience, I have a turbo 350 transmission that is use in a high performance application, it had a problem with gear selection, I saw that rob was close to my location so I gave him a call, rob was friendly and was happy to have a chat about my transmission, the knowledge he has about my type of transmission was incredible. I took my transmission to him and we had a good talk about it’s symptoms and he explained what he thought the problem was. A few days later he called me in and showed me the disassembled transmission and what the problems were, we agreed on the best course of action, he gave me the price of repair and he got started. Only a few days later the transmission was ready to pick up, I put it in my car and it works flawlessly. The reason I’m writing such a long review is to explain how great it was to get good old fashioned service, no false promises, done on time , at the agreed price.rob is the go to transmission guy

I thought I was up for a new transmission when my car lost all drive the other day. Thankfully with Rob’s advice, my mechanic was able to get me back on the road with just a filter and oil change. So much appreciate Robs expertise and knowledge! He saved the day!

I got onto Rob by accident, thought he was local (Springwood area) then after going through all the details of the necessity of an oil change and service on my Colorado LTZ, I discovered that he was actually down the coast. But, too late, I realized he had won me over. I went down and was there at 8.00 am, where he got stuck into it and had it done in no time.Champion bloke, lots of laughs and knows his stuff.
