The BEST place to have a wedding! Rustic charms, hidden gem, totally set up for all types of functions but it has a chapel (no, one does not need to be religious) which makes for a wonderful wedding, Christening or alternative events. ALL types of cultures, spiritual backgrounds and multi, alternative people are welcome. Including huge outdoor and indoor spaces, special places for the very youngest to play and the oldest of people to chill. Grooms rooms and bridesmaids gorgeous spaces. Also set up for groups riding the Brisbane Rail trails. Fully decked out renovated original house that sleeps up to about 10 to 16 people also available. So much more I could say.....

Owner Michelle has been a fountain of knowledge and ideas for our big day and so easy to communicate with.We stayed at HRDE this weekend to get to know the venue further and are so excited to see our plans come to life for our perfect day!

Holy red deer estate delivered the wedding of my dreams. I was a very particular bride with a glamorous vision on mind and everything was delivered flawlessly. Michelle the owner will work above and beyond for you.

We recently had our wedding there in June and I can't rate the venue highly enough. The owner Michelle is easy to contact and has lots of great suggestions for local florists and vendors. The venue itself looks beautiful even with no added decor. I love that you hire the estate out for the whole weekend so you can really immerse yourself. The onsite accommodation is fabulous, so many little touches. To top it off the mountain backdrop makes great wedding photos! (Photos by @hazelwillphotography)

HRDE is the most picturesque country wedding venue with such attention to detail on every level. From the authentic vintage décor and finishing touches in every room, to the abundant supply of DIY decorations and resources such as lawn games, candles and dainty props, this is every DIY bride's dream. We absolutely loved styling the venue and making it our own. Highly recommend, particularly if you're wanting to extend the celebrations into a wedding weekend! The onsite bridal suite, guest rooms and bathrooms are all located directly onsite, which made for a very smooth and stress-free day as we transitioned from getting ready, through to ceremony and reception. And more than the beautiful property itself, Michelle and David Goodchild are the most welcoming and knowledgeable hosts, with great relationships with wedding vendors for flowers, coordination, styling, photos and more. My husband and I had the most special day, what a wedding!

Holy Red Deer Estate is an AMAZINg place and venue!! It is in a cute and lovely town and such a beautiful area! I held my 21st 1920s Great Gatsby party there!!! I was able to decorate the hall with my decorations there is a kitchen where we were able to serve food for dinner which was super convient!! We had a great time under the stars near the fire pit! A group of us slept over that night in the house which was great, spacious and clean! Love this venue so much! Highly recommend!

Michelle you made Jaytika’s wedding planning /furniture hiring and all that went with it so much easier! You allowed us to come and walk around , plan and dream . And you helped us make her dreams come true . We were able to come more than once before the day and work out where to put things , you were there when the furniture arrived. Thank you ! We recently attended a party held at HRD. This venue has everything you could possibly want. It’s ideal for various functions with the variety of celebration spaces; chapel, hall, outdoor open area with its own arch (perfect for an outdoor wedding). The versatility of this venue from weddings, christenings, birthday and engagement parties to high tea. There’s even a fire pit outside! There has been a lot of love and hard work out into this lovingly restored venue. There level of detail, whimsical and tasteful decor is just divine.
