The location of this restaurant gets all the stars. Situated directly on the beach, the view during sunset was extraordinary. The interior was a warm and perfectly lit space.Friendly staff, but asking for drinks orders before providing a drink menu. A long wait between the oysters with fingerlime and the arrival of mains.The large pizza oven and delicious aroma promised a good pizza. It was not. A thin wet base meant the topping slid right off and required a knife and fork to eat. Good flavours, badly executed. The fish of the day was overcooked.Very pricey for the quality of food.This place has so much potential it was disappointing to have a sub standard meal. I really hope it pulls its socks up, to give Ballina a better dining experience.

A lovely space with amazing views of the beach and to top it off a ongoing convey of humpbacks putting on a brilliant display to our delight.Staff were attentive, helpful and friendly; food was delicious and cocktails were so good I had two!Thank you for a lovely experience, we will be back

We had a lovely experience! The vew is amazing! Lovely atmosphere, super cute interior!!! We came between lunch and dinner but were able to get beautiful pizzas, beers and desserts. Everything was great!!! It was a bit hot on an 26C day. I hope, they have an AC for a hot day!

Hubby, myself and a friend had my birthday dinner here on a recent Friday night. We all had a splendid time and ate great meals. Our waitress was not terribly happy but no matter; we all have bad days and all the other staff were lovely. Friend had the BBQ octopus, and the zucchini flowers; hubby had the woodgrilled pumpkin and radicchio, and I had the swordfish, and we shared a mixed leaf salad. Everything was so delicious - fresh and tasty. Friend had the pistachio gelato, and hubby and myself shared one of those plus a tiramisu. Oh wow, that was the best tiramisu ever! And the cocoa powder on top just added to the sweet, smooth, creamy wonder. The atmosphere is welcoming tho' it is rather difficult to find the restaurant! There are no lights, and only one small sign at the entrance. We almost turned back, thinking we had the wrong building, not being from these parts. Please get some lights and signs! (Hubby felt it was too noisy but I wasn't worried.) Definitely worth a trip down south for us to eat here. I hope we get to come again. Our friend who is a local had a wonderful meal too, she said.

Definitely higher than 4.4!!! I rate it 5.0. I eat out often at many excellent restaurants but Capriche is above exceptional. The food was outstanding: the mains of market fish (blue eye cod) with Sicilian olives was totally delicious and was teamed with a fresh green salad with red plums and Parmesan cheese. My partner had the wild boar pasta and was super satisfied. The wine was so good we each had more to drink than one glass. For desert we shared a tiramisu which was possibly the best I have ever eaten. The service was delightful. Presentation excellent. Very tastefully decorated. Positive vibrant qtmosphere

Second visit, and second time underwhelmed. The food was alright, but not amazing. Given the price tag I feel it should have been better. The desserts were great though. Service was pretty good, although after swift starters there was a long wait for second delivery. The venue is pretty noisy - lots of hard surfaces etc, so if you have difficulty following conversations with a lot of background noise you might find it difficult here.I haven't written them off but there are better places within striking distance in my view.

Our long lunch at Capiche was so beautiful! We ordered delicious cocktails and entrées to share while enjoying the stunning ocean views. The location right on Lighthouse Beach is amazing! Service was very professional and friendly. We’re definitely going back!

Situated at on the Beach front at the New Surf Club in beautiful Ballina , this restaurant has the most amazing views of Main beach. The service is excellent with attentive staff.The night ambience is next level !A delicious pizza and a wine is an easy option or depending on your budget you can go all out.The steak although at the more expensive end was a generous size , melt in your mouth and the best steak I've ever eaten. Fantastic venue for a special occasion. Extensive wine and drink list and desserts.
