Nothing is priced and now I know why. The guy at the counter rang up a little pack of plastic zip tie mounts which are no more than $10 anywhere else at a whopping $42! He didn't tell me the price, I luckily saw it on the EFTPOS machine just before putting my card down. When I questioned it (thinking there must have been a mistake), he said he gave me a discount and they are usually $60! What a rort!

Although John R Turks didn't stock what I was after - they located another business who had exactly what I needed. The lady was VERY helpful and kind. Would most certainly deal with this business again.

How a multi location business like this doesn’t know how to update its hours on their Google page is beyond me, but they don’t open on Saturdays at the moment and I have wasted a trip to come here.And it gets worse because when I went back to buy a product, after calling them on the phone to see if they have it in stock and then making my way down there, they tell me then that they cannot take payment because the system was down.They flat out refused all of my suggestions to pay, I offered to leave my drivers license details and credit card details with them. I suggested they call another store and take payment but it was too difficult for them to try.I would strongly recommend getting all of your electrical products anywhere else other than this place, it seems like a struggle for them to even get out of their seats to help

The service here is an absolute joke. One man on the front desk was condescending and extremely unknowledgeable about his own product. I had to ask him about an essential part of my order, he had completely forgotten to pack it for me. Running back to the shelf, he then hands me a box - Yep, thats fine love. Arriving to install my lights, the sparky tells me he has given me an unbranded driver (which if used would void the warranty) and one with the incorrect wattage. I now have to get the sparky to return on another day to finish the job, pushing my timelines and budget to the limit. In these times, is it too much to ask that the person behind the counter selling us stuff - KNOWS their stuff? I will be going to GO Electrical next time for all my lighting requirements.

For 15 min straight keep getting answering machine saying cant get to the phone leave your name and number and we will call you back. Waste of time.

Came in on 06/07/2019 at around 4pm and the service I received was atrocious.I was only looking for some help in purchasing lighting products for my home.However, the man serving me treated me like an idiot and was extremely rude. He was very ticked off and acted aggressive towards me when I tried asking questions.I hope to never be served by this particular employee again.

11 June 2022We are conducting a 2nd renovation of our home, and of course Electrical hardwares is part of it.Instead of waited to be advised by our assigned Electrician on types of Switches and Power points etc… I decided to acquire all information direct from JRT Alexandria. More important prices are important to us, I want to do what we are paying for and what are available at our own choices.The shop of JRTA are very Spacious, exceptionally Clean, Orderly, easy car parking spaces, good varieties of products and availability.The Staffs and management team are very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and efficient.I will return to purchase all the required electrical hardwares we need soon.Thank-you Collin for your quote.Elizabeth T
