A good school that focuses on positive ohtcomes and a love of the sport. There is children classes with good instructors. The recruitment of Sensi Hong by the leadership team is lifting the standard even further.Children can advance from participating in mainstream training to elite training where they want to participate in tournaments as organised by JudoSA and interstate. It is an Olympic sport afterall.Currently children training is Monday and Wednesday, starting at 4.30 for the real junior and new, then at 5.30 for the main kids class. Then 6.30 for the seniors. As another testment on how the club is regarded they just won the Adelaide University sports club of the year 2021.As a parent I highly recommend as an activity for your children. Gets them active. Teaches them skills and a mindset for life.X

Love this club!Atmosphere is amazing, the coaching team (Michael, Meera, Chris, Hong-sensei) are really knowledgeable. Permeant sprung mats! Great support/mentoring from the blackbelt/senior grades! Would really recommend this club to anyone, whether you want to learn self-defence, how to fall safety or compete.Training sessions are offered nearly every day. From the perspective of a adult player (there are also junior classes earlier in the day), Monday/Wednesday (6pm to 8pm) are our white-to-blackbelt classes over two mats areas. Thursday is advanced groundwork. Friday (6.30pm to 8pm) is technical and Saturdays (1-3.30) is competition focused judo.Balance for Life is also offered 5:30-6:30 fortnightly, which applies judo principles (core strength, agility, falling safely) as an exercise program for over 50s for longer independent living and minimise injuries from falls.Hope to see you there sometime :))
