Bread Club

A croissant in France sells at a good pastry shop for around 1 euro ($A1.63). At Bread Club they sell for $5 each! Whilst I can’t account for this huge price variation Icahn say that the Croissants at Bread Club are the best I have tasted so far in Melbourne. A flaky, buttery outer shell and a beautiful soft interior. They taste fresh! No dull refrigerated texture, no bread texture. These are the. Real deal and don’t need an fancy reinvention.

My new favourite almond croissant in all of Australia. Beautiful, tiny bakery with top-quality pastries that still manages to be friendly and unpretentious. They deserve to be more famous than Lune, but on the other hand I hope they never sacrifice their soul for the sake of scaling up.

Oh Mayne came here on a cycling stop with da boys and it was so delicious. Bread Club? More like, Delicious Club! I had the twice baked almond croissant with gingerbread and vanilla cream and I tried some of the cookie and kimchi toast. Amazing. Definitely coming back.

this is my favourite bakery in albert park, they have such a big selection to choose from and i like that they always have something new to try. the pizza slices they have on the weekend are definitely my favourite, i’d also recommend their cookies!

I both love and hate that they opened up a second location near my apartment. Because yes, I don’t have to travel to North Melbourne for my bread club fix anymore, but now I want to go there every day and eat everything. The pizza is very good, lots of bubbles and toppings. I definitely recommend heating it up at home in the oven and letting it get crispy & crunchy. Bread is, of course, excellent. Coffee is great! Staff lovely & attentive. Can’t go wrong! Just prepare to be addicted.EDIT: Had the cardamom bun today and it was very, very good! So good, in fact, that I contemplated not telling my partner I’d bought it because I didn’t want to share.

My mushroom pie vanished, I don't know where....it was so good. Maybe this ham and gruyere will fill the hole. No. Wait. It's vanished too!! At least I have the donuts left....????? Bread club is a friendly, tasty, different, amazing, yummy, local spot. Always so many excellent choices and variations on the classics. Love.

food and coffee is exceptional, staff super friendly, and store is beautiful inside and out, perfectly located in a lively spot in south melb. no matter what you get, sweet treat or savoury sanga, you'll love it. huge range of fresh treats and more substantial food. cookie is easily the best i have EVER had, almond croissant just as delectable and rolls filllled with flavour and fresh ingredients. a must visit, make it a regular!

Awesome place to get your daily bread, pastries, buns, sourdough and they are all delicious. They are baked daily. The coffee is amazing too. A special shout out to Suzi, Morgan and Meg who are the best ever.They are super friendly and always serving with a smile.
