We joined EDS at the beginning of term 3. We moved here from another dance school as my daughter had lost the love for dance. Gem has been an inclusive teacher, encouraging friendship growth within the classes with my daughter leaving every class with a smile! (What more can a parent want than their child to learn and have fun in class!)Gem is expanding her classes in 2023 to include Tap, which my daughter is excited to do again!I look forward to being involved in the growth of EDS and seeing how it can become bigger and better in 2023!

We moved to Eynesbury Dance Scene half way through their first year of business, from a school that had be come very business oriented and had quashed the love of dance my girls once had.Gem has been most welcoming to my children. She invited them all to a come and try even though only two were looking for a new school. There is a sense of community from the moment you walk through the doors. My girls are now in love with dance again and asking to do more classes each week.Gem has been understanding of the physical limitations one of my daughters has to overcome when dancing and takes this into consideration when working with her in class without making her feel 'less than'. She prides herself of ensuring everyone is included and having fun. Being a recreational dancer is encouraged and not frowned upon here.Being a new business there are some kinks to work out and that will come with Gem's willingness to go above and beyond for families which has been evident in our communications from the first interaction. My girls have been learning so much and have been given so many opportunities to grow in their understanding of dance practices and performance. Their social skills have improved through the friendships they have cultivated.I have been involved in many dance schools over the years and Eynesbury Dance Scene is one of the most understanding and supportive I have been to. I can't wait to see what EDS can achieve in 2023!

Everything about the this place and the person running it Gemma has been As hoc, disorganised and frankly unprofessional and a disappointment. When you enrol your child into a program you have a certain level of professionalism and expertise you are paying for and none of that was provided to my child. When she had a toilet accident because Gemma did not allow her to go to the toilet Gemma displayed a comple lack of duty of care or professional integrity and this is and was appalling. Later in the year she again refused to let my child go to the bathroom when she requested. Little children can not wait and need to go when they need to go!She sent two whole company group images of a stage where I can not even see my child in one and in another she is looking off camera and the image needs to be zoomed in to even find her. What a disgrace and a joke EDS is!
