Not only a down to earth and very friendly Dr, but took the time to give me some fish keeping advise which I've taken on board. He was able to give me an answer on why my goldfish didn't make it and checked the other fish and conditions. Haven't had a casualty since (that was a year ago). Got some fish for my son, started with a little 36L tank, Dr Loh gave me the confidence to upgrade to a 180L. Also found his YouTube videos informative. I highly recommend Dr Loh and will call on him again if needed.

We sought Dr Loh's help and advice when we had a mysterious disease affecting our angel fish. Visited our home, diagnosed a likely cause (a really rare virus) and organised pathology to confirm it. Then he came back to humanely dispose of the affected fish and treat our tanks so that it didn't spread.He's a very gentle and caring man and gave us confidence with his expertise and support. I would definitely use his services again.

Highly recommended The Fish Vet. Prompt service and can come to our place after hours. Very detailed in his examination. Follow up after visits to make sure that our axolotls are doing well. The Fish Vet helped our axolotls eat again after two months of not eating.

Dr Loh is a very kind, experienced vet.Dr Loh came and treated my community tank for flukes and diagnosed my Betta with a swim bladder bacterial infection before we had to accept the reality of mycobacteria. Dr Loh answered my many questions I had for him and truly cares about his patients.

I have employed the services of The Fish Vet on several occasions for the diverse needs of my pond fish. Each time, he has responded promptly. The Fish Vet’s mobile service saves you time and allows him to observe the fish in their natural environment allowing for a more wholistic diagnosis and treatment of any problems, and goes above and beyond to resolve them. The Fish Vet also always follows up in the days after appointments to ensure everything is going OK, and offers further advice and support. He is skilled, qualified and knowledgeable, and beyond that genuinely cares about your pets. I recommend his services to anyone who needs their pet fish well cared for.

Dr Loh and his Sydney counterpart, Dr Hirakis, are a pleasure to work with. I've had three consults, including a home visit from Dr Hirakis. As anyone would expect, they are very knowledgeable about the end-to-end process of fish management as a whole, and of course, with a focus on the prevention and treatment of disease. They also focus on the human connection, which is particularly important to us hobbyists. I thoroughly appreciate their commitment to this niche industry; without them, we'd be flying blind. Keep up the great work.For those other comments regarding fees/costs etc, at the end of the day, his years of commitment, knowledge and experience in this field justifies the fee. The fees are less than specialist doctors, or on par with Medicare general practitioner payments. So in my opinion, that's reasonable!
