Brilliant stay at Forest Fields, so well maintained. Really lovely couple of nights, the owners were friendly and welcoming.The cleanest long drop toilets we have ever used! Enjoyed the bush shower experience. Mozzies were vicious at dusk, but nothing some repellent and an antihistamine can’t fix. Don’t forget your cash for firewood!

What a beautiful and peaceful spot. Quite basic (manually filled showers, hot water etc), but worth it for the retreat. Park anywhere you want - but level spots are limited unless you can level your vehicle. We parked on the high side of the dam and it was stunning waking to view of the water and lush greenery. Stumbled upon this place by chance when our usual campsite was closed for maintenance. Byfield Campstay was peaceful and relaxing. Dogs are welcome, fire pits are available to use- and a wheelbarrow of wood will cost you $10. Nice clean amenities and the grounds were very well kept. Cost was $20 per night for up to 4 people.We will definitely be back!

What a gem of place this was. Very nice views quiet and lovely. There are also amenities. Very lovely hosts and fair price. Would definitely recommend this place.

Secluded, surrounded by rainforest. Wake up to the sounds of many different birds! A very laid back beautiful place to camp. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful property for a camp stay. Owners were probably the friendliest and helpful hosts we’ve ever met. Very peaceful with spacious sites. Fruit orchards throughout the whole campgrounds was really cool too. Plenty to see and explore around the camp stay and the nearby area for adults and kids. We’ll be back for sure.

This place is so incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The owners are so kind and helpful, we felt immediately welcome. If you're searching for a really quiet campsite in the middle of the rain forest (you might be the only guests if you're lucky) and can handle a bucket show go there!! We loved it and hope to come back sometime in life.
