Nido Early School Byford

My son was left unattended and alone in the toilet surrounded by classrooms that were locked and the lights were turned off. I am unsure how long he was left unsupervised or cared for. My son attended Nido early learning located at Byford glades WA 6122 Australia. On Wednesday the 20th at approximately 6pm my husband went to pick my son up and all the kids (a total of 5 and 2 educators)were upstairs. My son was no where to be found. When they were questioned where my son was they didn’t even know who he was, then lied said he has been picked up which he wasn’t. My husband called me and I told him that He has to still be there because I did not pick him up. My husband made them search the building only to find my 4 year old boy was left in a toilet all alone in the dark downstairs. He is very traumatised by this experience and the centre 3 weeks on hasn’t even had the courtesy to give us a refund let alone and update in regards to the investigation. Do yourself and your child a favour and stay clear from this centre! They are only pretty on paper but lack some serious duty of care!

The team at Nido Byford are friendly and always welcoming with big smiles on their faces. I always feel comfortable leaving my 3 young children as I know the team always go above and beyond with them. Communication is 100% and cleanliness is always on point.

Both my boys have attended Nido Byford since they opened in Nov 2018 they both have loved their time there. Great friendly staff and excellent facilities.
