Great rump & lams fry

Great place to grab a drink. Husband and wife owners were lovely to talk with. Was a very slow day for them unfortunately. But do stop here for a feed and this quencher while in the area.

Friendly atmosphere. Good pub food, so long as your a small group

Wayne & Leanne run this great hotel just off the main drag between Chinchilla & Toowoomba. For the price of a couple of delicious pizzas, a few cold beers & a great yarn, we were supplied with a powered site to pull up & a hot shower. Absolute gem of a spot. Thanks guys.

Dropped in whilst having a local drive and found a bright,enjoyable pub.The owner was friendly and jovial, do yourself a favour drop in when your nearby.

Great pub just off the highway. Wayne and Leanne, cooked us a top steak and lamb shank and a few drinks. We stayed out back in the RV. Toilet, shower and power.Tiny town with some history. Check out the old railway station.

A quick stop for a meal and couple beers.First impression was that the publican was grumpy but not to worry as that’s his style and was up for bit of a yarn on this cold wet Monday night.The pub was tidy, clean and presented well. The meals were good & beer was cold.Keep up the good work Wayne & team

My partner and I went to the Bowenville Hotel for Dinner tonightIt is a lovely country Pub, the bar staff are friendly and the bar atmosphere is are great, but my partner asked the owner if we could get the reef and beef meal with the rib eye steak instead of the rump steak, which was fine and we paid extra to do so, which is fair, we both ordered our steaks medium.The meal came out, well done and we where served the rump which was tough, the mash potatoes where deb instant, and the cauliflower and pumpkin where not cooked right . The meal was so disappointing that we won't be returning. We all have off nights but to serve a lesser quantity meat on top of this all and charge the customer for the better cut, was disappointing to say the least.
