T&T Quality Meats Rhodes

We stopped buying meat from this place from months ago as it’s often not fresh. Today for convenience I bought some chicken wings from there thinking they look alright. When I opened the bag at home they stink so bad!! Definitely no more purchase from this place.

Bought an expensive lamb roast. Cooked it that night. It was completely inedible. Every bite was chewy. We couldn't eat any of it, and had to throw it away. It was the worst roast meat I have ever had.Unfortunately this was not an isolated incident. My wife had warned me about shopping here. She already knew the quality of the meat is terrible - and she is right. Every time I have shopped here the meat has been very poor quality. The recent roast disaster is the last straw. I won't be returning.Dear owners: Please take note of all the one-star reviews you are getting. The amount of bad reviews you are getting is not normal. Reading these other reviews after I posted mine was horifying! You need to change your standards.

We have bought “pork bone” from this place this afternoon. We spent hours preparing making the soup with 4 other ingredients, and end up it is ox bones not pork bones, this is ridiculous! The flavour is completely different and no one like it, it’s such a WASTE OF FOOD AND TIME!

BE WARNED!! THEY COOK ROTTEN FOOD DISGUISED WITH LOTS OF ADDITIVES AND DO A HARD SELL AS FRESH

Wish I had read all the bad reviews beforehand. I visited this store today and bought the pet mince that is advertised. I asked for 300g because I wanted to try this particular meat with my cat. My cat has been on a raw diet since she was a kitten and never had any issues. The butcher came out and loudly said ‘please buy 1kg , its not worth me cutting my fingers’ , this should have been a sign not to buy their meat. I apologised and said 1kg is fine and later came home to see they had stuffed a 1kg block of frozen meat in the bag, unwrapped and stuffed in with other meat I had purchased from this horrible place… so gross! Of course after eating this within 10 mins, my cat threw up all over the house and it really shocked me. Disgusting place. I do not recommend!! Not only is their meat quality horrible but the butcher is extremely rude!

If I could place a 0 star I would because of their extremely horrible customer service.I had to formally file a complaint for T&T Quality Meats at Rhodes Waterside.I am a regular customer of the butcher. Last time I bought chicken breast from them, as soon as I opened the chicken it smelt horrible and rotten so my husband and I had to throw them out. Despite being utterly disappointed as I was ill and the chicken was for my husband to cook some porridge for me, we did not go back and demanded refund as these things can happen.Last Sunday, 5 December afternoon I went and got 25 pieces of chicken wings to cook for dinner and lunch. As soon as I saw one of the pieces looked brown, I had a gut feeling and asked the lady Are these fresh?" and she answered yes. She said no need to freeze it if you are going to cook on Monday so I bought them.When I came home on Monday and opened the chicken

This butcher is ok, prices have gone up but often they are still a bit cheaper than Coles next door. Worth checking out for price comparisons. Service is so so, they don’t give off a local butcher vibe - good if you just want to buy your meat and go home without being dragged into a lengthy conversation.

I have ordered multiple times a bacon and egg roll for breakfast and continuously get told“No!”. This item is on the menu to choose from. The reason is that they need to clean the grill. What do they mean? So rude and the service is so bad!! don’t go there!!

DISHONEST AND RUDE!Gave them $27 for $17 worth of meat so I could get a $10 note back in change. The lady who served me insisted that I only gave her $17 and started to raise her voice at me. Told them to check their CCTV and they told me to leave my number with them as “it might take a long time to investigate”. I insisted on staying as I was definitely in the right. After 15mins, they gave me my $10 back as “the investigation will take too long”…probably because they realised that they were in the wrong in the first place.Would not return again and looking at previous reviews, probably better off buying from coles!
