How often do you, not only get an auto electrical job done well, but your expectations are pleasantly exceeded? Shannon's have done this for me a few times now. Even their front office staff are, not just helpful, they're industry knowledge is sound. I can recommend then.

Was highly recommended so I rang to have my daughters Subaru XV booked in to have headlight fixed. Told them headlight switches on and off even though the bulb has just been replaced. Next day they rang to say all fixed and that they replaced the bulb for $213. So I politely told them NO! I already did that. Told them to check wiring....like I thought they would. Was told a day later It was something else. Was told could replace both headlights at $4k, one headlight at 2k or the balast in the headlight I wanted fixed for $1.4k . So I said why dont we just do that then. Was told one week for parts. Two weeks later car was repaired. In the end they didnt charge for the bulb. They did a good job, knowing they are understaffed. Just wished they had of listened from the start.Yes Subarus are expensive. Thankyou for your service. I will use you guys again. Hope you get more staff.CheersRob.

I had a reverse camera installed from Shannon’s Auto Electrician and when picking my car up, my drivers side, back door wouldn’t close properly and Jodie the receptionist tried to tell me, was it from the accident. My car was fixed in June, so no from the accident. I use my back door everyday for work and this is how she treated me. She told me the boys wouldn’t of done anything to my door. Funny enough they removed the strip to run wires to the reverse camera and didn’t replace it properly. I know how I dropped my car off, I am over rude people that don’t know how things are done. Why didn’t she get the person that installed the camera to have a look. I will never return to your premises for future recommendations …

Pretty good business. Look for the green shed - it's Irish colour! The diagnostic was not too expensive, but the cure for a faulty sensor is several hundred dollars - crazy - and not worth it for an old car. Not their fault - blame the manufacturers who rip off their former customers. Fast, efficient, friendly service from Shannon's though.

Late last year I had an auxiliary feed and isolator fitted to my vehicle in order to service my new caravan. I first used this new system when I left Townsville a few days before Christmas intending to be away for several months.It soon became apparent that there were problems. There were strange noises and my caravan fridge would not operate whilst connected. I sought advice from my caravan supplier who advised me to check the Anderson Plug connections - both were badly burned and pitted. He advised me to leave it disconnected and seek advice after Christmas when normal business operations resumed.After New Year I went to an auto-electrical workshop in Petrie who discovered that my Anderson plug had been wired incorrectly with reverse polarity. He fixed the issue, replaced the Anderson plugs and suggested that I got the isolator checked when i got home. I rang Shannon's immediately and explained the situation without any rancour and I agreed to call in on returning home.I arrived home about two weeks ago and dropped in along with my invoice from Petrie. The office girl said he wasn't there but they would get in touch by phone. No one has contacted me even after subsequent phone calls when the office girl again promised they would respond.My conclusion: this is a cowboy operation whose ineptitude is only equalled by their lack of scruple and professionalism. Avoid like the plague.

My Kia Rio 2010 had intermittent stallign issues and dropped it off at Shannon's to diagnose. Shannon was very helpful from the start and actually watched as I showed him what was happening. Within 3 days they sorted my car (ECU repair) and even Shannon took the time to call me back and field some questions regarding my car.Great advice, great care, and clear communication with customers. I highly recommend them!
