My Massage

It is what it is, a walk in, mall located, Chinese run massage place. I don't care about chit chat or hospitality just a good massage is fine with me and they take medibank so i can finely use all that credit i have.

Comfiest couch chairs for neck, head, shoulder, foot massage. So relaxing.

Please refrain yourself from going to this massage place. The people are utmost rude and my partner and I got a neck, shoulder and head massage. I told her to go easy on the pressure as it started to pain. She dint listen and continued to massage hard. I wasn’t relaxed at all and wanted the 30min to go by so quickly. I came back with body aches and my shoulders feel sore. It aches when I try to move my shoulder. That’s $45 down the drain.

I have been using this massage parlour for 4 years now and couldn't be happier. Wendy is just THE best. As she seems to be the most popular, I would advise that you ring to make an appointment with her. The weekends are always frantic here, so if possible go during the week. If it is not possible then ALWAYS ring for an appointment. As most of the staff do not speak good English, this is mistakenly interpreted as rudeness!

Walked in sore and wanting a massage, walked out stress and so insulted! Didn’t even manage to get a massage waited 30 minutes after been told I’d have to wait 5-10 minutes. 3 times I was nagged for my health insurance card to swipe prior to treatment, all times I said no and that I’d do it afterwards due to the fact that I was on a tight time frame and wanted my massage completed before I paid and worried that once I paid that I’d be waiting forever for my massage, I had to be elsewhere in an hour and half and wanted a 30 minute massage and had already waited 30 minutes so didn’t want them to have my money then run out of time and would have to leave without my massage. I ended basically feeling that I wouldn’t get my massage wIthout using my health insurance card so because my card had expired (I didn’t realise, but it’s not a big deal I can just pay cash and claim it back) my husband had to race over and give me his card, then it wasn’t working so I just said I’d pay and just before I paid I noticed the time and realised that if I was going to get the massage and leave on time I’d have to go in now so I asked after having already waited 30 minutes how much longer they’d be and then I was told they’d be another 5 minutes!! I couldn’t believe it, and the moment I got upset she started blaming the wait on me and my husband because 1. I didn’t want to pay for my service prior to treatment and my card was expired and 2. My husband aparantly took too long bringing the health insurance card over. Well it’s 100% illegal to take health insurance prior to treatment!!!! And I was so pissed off that she had he nerve to blame me and my husband to the wait, I have never had to pay prior to a massage. If you tell someone that there would be a wait then be honest with them!! People don’t like being bullshitted to

The circular couch chairs are heavenly! Always get an amazing neck, head and shoulder treatment here. Highly recommend!!

I almost didn't go here, because I saw the 1 star review and reacted from that. Then I read the other review and realised it was based on wait time etc, and not the massage itself. As there was no one else waiting I decided to go on in and try it anyway, and I'm super glad I did! I got a back massage with oil and it was honestly one of the top massages I've ever had. And for that price, you've got no complaints from me!

Partner bought 2 $100 1 hour (60 min) full body massages for my Christmas present as an experience we could do together. 1. My partner told the women massaging her 3-4 times that she needs to be more gentle/ massage much softer and the massage women responded by saying sorry and that she forgets sometimes. So the entire massage my partner was tensing up because of how harsh the massage was. 2. We payed for a FULL BODY massage 1 hour + they turned my partner over in the last 10 minutes and just did an over the towel kind of “press”. Then with me, I didn’t get turned over at all. So I did not get a full body massage as payed for, but only the back half of my body. The next day me and my partner both are very sore + this is coming from someone who usually loves a good deep muscle massage. The ambience in the couple room could’ve been better. For $100 there was music playing in the room (wouldve prefered meditation music etc) + another worker came in 2-3 times talking loudly and abruptly and that ruined the energy even further. They also did not specify with us whether we had wanted the relaxation massage or deep tissue. We did NOT want deep tissue. In conclusion, we did not get a full body relaxation massage + I can’t believe I only got half my body massaged. Not impressed and we are both in pain. Ouch.

I have been to plenty of massage places through out my entire life, but this place by far has been the best I have been to within Australia. The lady asked me before my massage for any injuries and as she was massaging she warned me about this area might hurt a little due to me being tense in that area.I had a full body oil massage and I will mostly defenitly be coming back here again, it was such an amazing experience and have not felt this good in such a lot time.

From the moment I walked in to the shop to moment I walked out, service was subpar. The male staff member attending to me only said two things the entire time I was there, “what you want?!” when I walked in, and “do you want water?” at the end.The staff member seemed either new or didn’t know the services that My Massage provided, as when I stated I would like a remedial shoulder, neck and back massage (40 minutes), the man replied with ‘30!’ until I pointed to the menu.He beckoned me to a room with just his hands, I felt like a dog. When i was shown to the room, I turned around so I could discuss my treatment, but the masseuse had already walked away, without a word, leaving the curtains wide open in a busy shop.When he returned the room started to smell like cigarette smoke, later on I realised the smell was from the masseuse! Not very relaxing, especially as an asthmatic.At no point was there an opening for me to discuss the sort of treatment I wanted nor if I had any injuries or allergies. I have a severe anaphylactic allergy to a certain fruit and as the masseuse began straight away with hot oil (I gathered?), I say there hoping the fruit wasn’t in any of the rubs.I was wearing jeans. The masseuse tried tugging my jeans down so that my entire butt was out (not sure why my entire butt had to be exposed for a back, neck and shoulder), but it was obvious from the first tug that they were still buttoned. I attempted to unbutton but the masseuse kept tugging - could have easily broken my jeans!Despite me being there for a shoulder, neck and back massage, I found the masseuse kept trying to massage my butt and my knees. I have aSeveral times throughout I had to ask the masseuse to go softer, especially around my butt and knees as I have hip and knee injuries. The masseuse took no notice of me straight out asking, nor my moaning of ‘ouch!’ and tense body. This is why I had specifically asked for a shoulder, neck and back massage, I didn’t want anyone re-injuring my knee. Of course, there was no opportunity for me to relay this information to the masseuse.Despite me asking I now have massive bruises on my lower butt, absolutely NO WHERE near where the massage should have taken place, and I feel as if my knee has been bothered.I looked at the time before I laid face down on the table and the time after the masseuse walked away without a word, somehow signalling the end of therapy, and only thirty minutes had elapsed. Not what I ordered at all.I have been here twice, and whilst the first time was great, this was such a bad experience that I would never go back, nor would I ever recommend the place to anyone else.
