Who needs St Kilda when you can grab delicious fresh baked cakes and biscuits close to home. Coffee was delicious macarons were perfectly crunchy outside and soft and gooey in the inside. Great cafe and cake shop

Ordered a cake from here after seeing all the great views. I ordered a red cake and had a phone consultation with the cake decorator. I am disappointed in The Cake Box for not mentioning the severe staining their cake would have. We ended up with stained mouths, skin, plates and cutlery. Quite an embarrasing situation. After mentioning this to them, they insisted they told me I told them to go ahead which is a complete lie. It's a shame this place has poor consultation skills and then cannot take responsibility for their lack of advice and tries to blame the customer. I hope The Cake Box improves their customer service.

This was my first time ordered my son's birthday cake, they have huge variety of sweets. The cake was so good, the cream was so fresh, the cupcakes were melting and delicious. Overall very positive experience. Definitely will order again. Keep it up guys.

Not professional came in twice to order cake but the girls working there don't know to take cake orders. You guys are in the wrong business.

Nice place for a cake and coffee. Their continental baked cheesecake is always fresh and deliciously creamy. The coffee is OK but could be improved with a better brand of beans like local Zebra Coffee in Thomastown. The crockery and fitout are a bit dated and could use an update.

Awesome continental cake by the slice of whole cake. They have a great range of assorted biscotti. Reasonable prices. Coffee is amazing too. They are the whole package. Open 6.5 days per week. They are the go-to place if you are craving some amazing cake.

I went to the Cake Box to order a 90th birthday cake for my mother in law...I asked to see a catalogue and found a cake and she quoted me $120 we upgraded to 14 for $160 no problem...It was your basic Italian continental with almonds on the side and piping on border... it actually took forever to get to this point the Indian lady that served me had no idea how to further help with any helpful suggestions! So we settled on the cake and she then told me that it would cost me extra $11 for piping the border OMG! She was try to make more money on us which was completely insulting!! I told her I'm not paying the extra and that she is going to lose business from her doggy attempts at ripping us off as it was the cake we chose from the page and it already had piping on it.... I walked out simply because she doesn't deserve my business
