Harry has been my guitar teacher and friend for many years now. I started lessons with Harry through his Sydney based studio (face to face lessons) and since Harry moved to the Sunshine Coast I have continued my lessons online which has worked very well. Harry is a very patient teacher, extremely passionate about music and his method of learning will help anyone improve! He is very dedicated to his students and works hard to help them to become the best players that they can be. I strongly recommend Harry as a teacher. I have been playing guitar for 23 years and have had a few guitar teachers in that time. What sets Harry apart from the rest is that he is extremely passionate and invested in your improvement and becoming the best player you can be.Having just relied on youtube videos to learn for a good 15 or so years, I had picked up various bad habits in technique. When I first started with Harry 3 years ago we set out to hammer these away. I struggled with appropriate picking technique and playing rhythmical songs correctly. 3 years later I feel confident in tackling the funkiest rhythms and playing difficult solos (I still can't believe I can actually play a Pink Floyd solo!).Harry has a structured approach to your learning and encourages you to learn songs by ear. If you believe in the structure (which you should) and practise hard, your playing will greatly improve in a matter of months! Through Harry I have also met other students of his, great people and musicians with whom I have formed a band. This has always been a dream of mine.If you love blues, rock, funk, pop, Harry is just as passionate about each of these styles. As someone who loves the blues, Harry has helped me greatly improve my blues playings and breaking out of the standard minor pentatonic style.Thanks Harry for reigniting my passion for guitar playing!

I learnt guitar as a kid , absolutely loved it, and then stopped playing when work and family took over. I met Harry 2 years ago when I started playing again (after a 30 year break) and needed a good teacher. I enjoy learning with Harry, he challenges me and as a result I'm loving playing again.I'd happily recommend Harry to anyone.

I have been taking bass lessons with Harry for 2 years and a half now. Even thought I have been playing bass for 15 years, it's only after starting lessons with Harry that I really improved my technique. I have learned so much from him regarding the understanding of music theory. We went back to the basics and fixed everything that was wrong with my technique.

When Harry lived in Sydney I knew the man, first as his guitar student, then as his friend...I learnt from the maestro, I learnt perseverence and I learnt economy of movement and excellence....Harry is a living treasure, a guitar prodigy.....Harry does more than teach, he actually Mentor's his student's in music and life.....During my lessons with Harry I learnt to laugh at myself, and in this process I also laughed at Harry! But one thing is no joke, his Harry was to step up any further in his musicality as a guitarist he would be on par with Eric Clapton or Angus Young....Take your pick,... if you want to learn to play guitar call Harry Now.

Harry is the best music teacher I've ever had. He has lots of different ways of explaining techniques and theory to his students, and he tailors each lesson to your personal progress. He is always honest and pushes each student to meet the potential he sees in them. If you go to Harry the only thing stopping you is yourself. I can't think of anybody else who can help me achieve my dream, and I urge anybody serious about music to consider him first and foremost.
