OZ Design Wollongong

Purchased a Hamptons Queen bed, customer service was great in store but when we got the bed home it was discovered there were three vital pieces missing. When I phoned the store I was told that I would have to follow up with ozdesign customer care via email as apparently they had no contact phone numbers (I managed to google and find the number myself). The so called customer service from the customer care office was made up of many phone calls and emails back and fourth. Eventually we got the parts by picking up from Rouse Hill in order to avoid further delays and having to sleep on the floor for another week. Not good enough.

nice styles, although small collection with styles changing very infrequently. some things been the same for years instore. overpriced for mass manufactured pieces. delivery cost is a bit $ for locals too. store is nicely set out. staff are friendly and helpful without being too pushy. might find a bargain in their rear clearance section from time to time. worth a visit, just not very often.

My wife and I went in to buy a set of drawers and a mirror we decided upon earlier.First, the two women staff members were more interested in hanging a picture (both of them...) than serving us or anyone else who was walking around.After standing around for a bit my wife had to go and ask for help. We were told there was no stock available and that the mirror would not be constructed until June.We needed the furniture in the next couple of weeks at the latest and when we explained this, there was no looking for an alternative, no further help or suggestions and a goodbye see you next time"...It seems that the sales people either don't work on commission or just don't care about a sale...We were about to spend $1339.00... .Fantastic furniture got our money instead. They had drawers ready

I ordered a frame over a month ago now and every time I enquire about the delivery of my item, I keep getting longer time frames on when it is going to arrive. Apparently it will be delayed by another month now..... Due to arrive at the end of August and I am the one constantly having to enquire, nobody has given me any updates on the continuing delays. Not a great experience so far, hoping I will get my delivery soon.

I purchased a 3 piece lounge from Oz and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. The staff were very helpful and their service was excellent. My lounge was delivered by a very professional team. They put runners down so my carpet and flooring were protected from their shoes. They had contacted me the night before delivery and came on time. My lounge is very well made in Australia and it was delivered quicker than I expected. Highly recommend my Oz Design experience.

Fantastic staff, great range of items, can't beat it

Bought 2 Bar stools at the start of November in 2021Originally got told 3 week wait time prior to conforming our purchase which we were happy with. Coming up to the 3 weeks we get a call saying it'll be another 2-3 wait, issues with shipping, then at the end of that 3 week wait we got told either just after Christmas or early in the new year we will get them. Called at the start of January, got told the start of February, by then we were over waiting - eventually got them delivered (free of charge) and they arrived a couple of days ago. Nearly 5 months wait for 2 Bar stools, when we were originally told it'd be 3 weeks

Spent lots and lots of money in the warrawong store please people be aware when buying from here things look good on the floor but when delivered they come very different then when you ring customer service they are hopeless and don’t care about helping you it’s taken me from April till today to work out what’s being done about a faulty dining table so when thinking about buying from oz design warrawong or for that matter any oz design store walk straight pass the store not worth the arguments and endless emails to customer service ☹️☹️☹️

Just purchased a couple of couches from this shop. We believe they marked prices up in shop and pretended to give us a “25% discount” but it wasn’t a real one. By the time the couches got delivered they were $200 each cheaper online than what we paid. Yet when we first went to the shop the salesteam was telling us their discount offer was only available for a few days and we better not miss out and it was our last chance to buy this cheap.Feels like they were not honest with us knowing prices would be further marked down in a matter of days, we are so disappointed by such poor customer service.

Worst customer service when you receive a damaged product. I have been chasing oz design so called ‘customer service’ through multiple emails with minimal replies, i then had to call again to find out about my replacement tv unit because the first one we got was damaged. I was told I had to get the original one back to the store to pick up the new one, this was weeks ago and still haven’t heard anything and have to waste more time on following this up. I’ve had better customer service with fantastic furniture and Amart!I bought a tv unit from the OZ Design Furniture Wollongong.
