Nothing spectacular- got the deep fried chicken with chillies, special fried rice dish and Xiao long bao dumplings. Dumplings were great. Rest was pretty average. The fried chicken was one of the worst dishes I’ve eaten in my life - all chillies, pepper and nuts and hardly any actual chicken. And considering it’s priced at $25, don’t even bother ordering it.

Food: not a fan. Ordered the wontons in chilli oil - the wontons weren’t typical wontons and tasted like plastic, quite difficult to chew. There was also no chilli. The spicy rice, was not spicy at all. The rice was also under done.My 1 star goes to the venue, as it was nicely decorated. The staff need lessons in customer service - instead of just standing all together and chatting.I do not recommend this place.

Taste of Shanghai" - Great variety of Shanghai/ Chinese delicacies in original setting. I have tried Wonton soup and the dumpling was meaty and tasty although the soup was quite bland and oily. The service was good and it costed only $13.80 - I just hope they will keep up the standard as I want to go back there more often from now !"

Decent restaurant with average dishes. There isn't much space inside. A bit crowded with all the tables and reserved private rooms.Same quality and taste as all other Taste of Shanghai restaurants. Nothing special.Pricey as usual. Small portion size for the price.Great for groups and dinner. Dishes are mostly for sharing. Some dim sim dishes good for a quick bite or as takeaway meals.

The food is consistent every time! Ordered our favourite spicy pork, prawn with.egg yolk and sweet sour fish. Super satisfying and highly recomended. The price is very reasonable and the restaurant is very clean. Also the salted and pepper pork ribs was also super tasty. Really friendly staff, with good service. Will definitely return!

Lilong is still the go-to place for mainstream Shanghai style dishes, but this store has missed the mark due to a dip in consistency. Why?The Xiaolongbao tasted good and juicy. However, the skin was slightly thick and floury, and a significant flaw was actually the absence of vinegar and spoons. Two things that are key to the XLB experience. It's like going to a pancake shop and you had to chase the staff for butter and syrup after ordering their hero dish. The rest of the dishes were decent, but some were not without minor shortfalls:- Ricecakes were good but slightly too salty- Sweet & Sour Pork was soggy- Paper-Wrapped Flashfried Beef was good- Jasmine rice was fine (ricecooker, not steamed)The service was actually a bit of a let down. Apart from the lack of dumpling condiments, most of the staff seemed low energy and not wanting to be there - chatting among themselves or looking at their phones. There wasn't even a thank you" after paying.I love Lilong and still like their food

This was our first time here so we just ate a few basic dishes.Dumplings very fresh and tasty. Pork Bell with sticky sweet and sour was excellent.Staff really friendly and polite.Extremely business buy 12noon.We are coming here again with the family next time to try the salt n Pepper dishedRecommend eating here slightly pricey but worth it

Ordered 4x dishes all up, service was good and food came out fairly quick. The price is on the higher end side.We had the braise eggplant with mince, special spicy fried rice, black fungus appetiser and the shandong chicken.Eggplant was the highlight, sweet and sour and melts in your mouth. Good amount of garlic.Shandong crispy chicken needed more sauce, felt like I was just eating crispy chicken.Rice and black fungus were pretty good.
